The referees in the match were less than acceptable. Longview just won out in the end, and congratulations to them. Good luck tomorrow. But the decisions I saw the referees make and enforce makes me believe the quality of officiating in East Texas is not as bad as everyone likes to whine about.

I SAW that it was worse than I stated. But I am a gentleman enough to let those things be spoken of somewhere else besides this forum. And I did not want to take anything away from Longview. In spite of the officiating, they were the better team today. But I do not believe by 3 goals. This is one of those rare occasions that the officiating MAY have affected the outcome. Demoralization of the Lindale squad took it's toll in the end. That is truly sad. But, complaining won't change the outcome and best of luck to the Lady Lobos! Represent all of us in East Texas well!

I certainly would not take anything away from the Longview girls. They won today and I really wish them well tomorrow. Lindale's season is over and that's it. But if it's possible that the officiating MAY or MAY NOT have had an impact on this game, or any other, where do you think it should be discussed, if not on this soccer forum? I think we can discuss such things without being accussed of whining or complaining.

It should be taken in writing with tapes to back it up to the UIL offices. That is the only legit way to get anything done other than useless, unproductive discussion.

Calm down. What he's saying is that instead of getting on a webforum and voicing your opinion and getting no where, you (or anyone else) should voice it to UIL officials, along with a recording of the game.
