As of right now, the Finals Game being played by the Pierce Lady Mustangs and the Longview Lady Lobos has ended. The final score stands at 3-0 with Pierce defeating Longview.

Congrats to Pierce for winning and good luck in the state finals.

Now both boys teams have taken the field in pre-game warm up, so stay tuned in as the boys game will start promptly at 1:30.

Welcome to the start of the Lindale vs. Mesquite Poteet Finals Game!

The boys take the field as the announcer is going through the lineup for the Lindale Eagles.
The Poteet Pirates soon follow in the lineup announcements.

Everyone rises for the Nation Anthem, the Eagles and the Pirates return to their bench for a team prayer.
And it looks like the Eagles will be taking the North end of the field today. Leading the attach for the eagles looks like Enoch Shipman and Jordan Norris. And the whistle blows and the games begun !

Poteet was leading some very good attacks early on with a lot of long #### to the eagle defenders.
But now the games spread out a little more with action.

There is a little attack. If it was a header they are making runs on the frame.

Sure have been quite a few corners for a playoff game with 2 really good teams.

I'm thinking the wind must be much more than breezy for that many corners in a half and the offense getting that much attack from a goal kick. Is Lindale's defense playing too conservative?
