Full Version: SWAT 12u fastpitch softball
Congrats to SWAT on back to back championships in Lview the past 2 weekends. Way to go girls!!!
SWAT made it 3 in a row today as they won the USFA Wild West Shootout 12u NIT. They competed against teams from Mississippi,Arkansas, and other Texas teams. Summer before last they got fourth out of 60 something teams at the USFA World Series in Panama City Beach, FL. as a 10u team. Last summer they won the USSSA 11u World Series. They also won 3 Texas State Championship tourneys. Team members are Ali Modisette,Ashlin Roach,Kaylee Knowlton,Haley Krumpelbeck,Taylor Pyland,Kasadi Hodges,Madison Martin,Karley Free,Annie Mehringer,and Nicole Linton. Coaches are Allen Modisette, Chris Knowlton, and James Linton. Great way to start off the season girls!!!

Man I think I saw more nail biters at this tourney than any other. Some of the best softball is played in East Texas.
This was a very good tournament. Those SWAT girls look 16 already. They are huge. Very good team.
SWAT competed in a USFA qualifier this weekend in Shreveport. A one day tournament with no pool games. SWAT lost 5-4 in the championship game to the Arkansas Batbusters after going undefeated to the championship. SWAT defeated the Batbusters in an earlier bracket game 1-0. This was one time i would liked to have had the "if" game. Great softball! Congrats on another good weekend girls!!!!
Congrats to the SWAT girls and coaches on another Championship this past weekend in a USFA tournament in Kilgore!! Great job!!!! Stay dedicated and keep working hard.
SWAT played up in the 14u div. in The Battle on the Red USFA qualifier this past week end at Shreveport. They competed well with the older girls finishing 4th behind some very good 14u teams. I believe there were 12 teams entered. Way to go girls!!!!! Florida here we come!!!!
SWAT competed in Shreveport this past weekend and finished 4th. SWAT lost 2-1 in the semi-final and then 8-7 in the consolation game. Not a real good showing but the competition was tough and you cant win em all. Way go girls! This weekend SWAT will be competing in Oklahoma City in the Triple Crown OKC 09 tournament. In addition to playing in this great tourney, the girls will get to watch 2 Womens College World Series games per day for 3 days! This will be a great experience for these girls. Go SWAT!!!!!
The SWAT girls played great this weekend and came away with a 3rd place finish out of 28 teams from 9 different states. They only had 1 loss the entire tourney. Unfortunatly it was in the semi-final, 3-2 loss that took 2 international tiebreakers to complete. There were 3 Texas teams in this tourney and 2 were in the final 4! SWAT played Austin's Finest in this semifinal matchup. Austin's finest won 4-1 in the championship. Congradulations girls! In addition to a great tourney, the girls got to watch Georgia v/s Michigan, Alabama v/s Arizona St., Georgia v/s Washington , and then Georgia v/s Washington again in the WCWS at ASA Hall of Fame Field. All I can say is AWSOME SOFTBALL!!! Lord willing we will go back next year. Keep working hard girls, we are proud of ya!!!
