I see the Lakers over the Cavs in 6.

The Lakers will win the West, no question. Either Cleveland or Boston is going to represent the East, so I will say... If Garnett comes strong off his injury, he will lead them to another Finals.
Lakers over Celtics in 6...

Nah, Huck, you're entitled to your opinion, regardless how misguided it might be....
One thing is certain - I don't see either of those teams making it to the final round. Miracles can happen and I will root for my SPURS until they are no longer playing, but I don't see it happening this year.
**Mavs gonna take care of my SPURS .... man, what
have you been smoking?????

this is the most even series there is in the playoffs right now (possibly the heat and hawks also) but both teams have beat the other at home and on the road. other than tony parker, SA is OLD! and dallas has shown that when they have josh howard in the lineup they are a different team
dirk is also playing with a new intensity. i see dallas moving on.
but as far as the finals go...the lakers think they are better than everyon while cleveland wants to prove they are better than everyone. if LA were to beat cleveland in the finals, it would be because of someone other than kobe. LA is deep deep. if cleveland wins, it will be because lebron carried them.

It's okay, stevosev7, Huck and several others give me a hard time about my adoration of the SPURS; I hand it right back to them.
I am a diehard SPURS fan, but even I know that changes need to be made if they want to play longer than the first round. I don't look forward to the changes. I hate Dallas and the Lakers, though, so I root for anyone who can beat them. And regardless of what people say about my SPURS, I still root for them with an undying devotion. **Cue Huck - try again!**
My shrine to the SPURS is almost ready. It will stay up until the last basket has been made and the season ends for them - whenever that might be - and then be put away until the next season.
Again, Cavs in however many they need in order to beat the Lakers 'cause I don't like the Lakers!
And as Straw reminds us every year: Dirk chokes.

Lakers over the Cavs in 5.
I also think the Mavs win the first round against the Spurs. Duncan is not 100% and no Ginobli. Dirk will be too much.
Go Mavs!!

At this point, I can't see anybody beating either the Lakers or the Cavs. It looks like those two teams will be there. I'll take the Lakers in 7........although I would prefer the Cavs win it.

I see Denver giving LA a good series. They have enough big time scorers to keep pace with Lakers. I hope the Mavs get by Denver but I don't see it happening. Anyway, I'll take Denver vs. Cavs in the final.

As of today I would ahve to go with Cavs and Lakers. The Cavs in 6. Even though I don't like the GM Danny Ferry.
