The Good-
1.Awesome weather.
2.Hospitality probably one of the best, if not the best in Texas.
3.Good Competition
4.Good Organization

The Bad-
1.Kids missing field events because the UIL band competiton scheduled at the same time
as the track meet. What were you(supts or whoever you are) thinking? Good to know the
kids are still the main focus.

Tatum's prom is on the day of the state track meet. Or it could be the regional track meet.

Either way, Tatum's prom is on the day of a big track meet.

Yeah I know that happens a lot. I have seen girls with their hair and nails all done many a time running in the Region III 1A meet at SFA. Their mind in definitely on the night's prom and not running!!

Some may choose track over prom but probably not many. Just ask Adrian Peterson.

District's should check on stuff like that before they plan for the prom. Jr's and Sr's don't want to miss their big night @ prom and some find themself torn between the 2. Some might can rush back and make prom but take Tatum for instance: Their regional meet is in Humble. That's about a 3.5 hour drive. There's no way they can get back and make prom.

Good job White Oak. When I saw the results from the Winona meet, I knew that you guys wouldn't have any trouble winning the district.

I would've had absolutely no problem skipping prom or band competition to run in a regional track meet. To me that's a no brainer, but then again I wasn't that fast.
