I'm trying to find a schedule for the Region III-2A meet Friday and Saturday.
What time do the field events start each day?
What time are the running prelims and 3,200 Friday?
I also need the time for the running finals. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone know why the meet was moved from Palestine this year?

There is no meet now! Has been cancelled because of the swine flu.
Top four times from the region will advance to state (district times are what counts).
Wow, what about the 3200 runner that had an easy district and held a little back because of the mile?

This is not fair for kids that have worked so hard to qualify for Regionls.

what about the teams that unloaded their relays to run individual events to win their district meets and then had planned to load them back up for regionals? Arp comes to mind (4 x 2, 4 x 4) and Texas High 4 x 100. Got to hate it for those type of teams.
I'm sure there will be those type of stories all over the state though.

I agree 100%
That makes me so mad how people don't even see from the students side view. That is outrageous how you guys plan this. Seriously get your mess fixed, it's not fair for every team and player that has worked hard to get no where but past district and you guys decided to take the top four? Are you serious? Like have you gone crazy. There is nothing but complains about this and all you guys do is just take the top 4 from district. I think everyone that qualifies for district should go on. I think some players didn't give it the ALL and they want to give more. There are alot of players that have been practicing for this and that would be sad if they weren't able to move on. So sad how this is plan and ruined. I would call this a cheap way of doing this?

Anymore results from this meet? How did the Rogers girl, just a freshmen, do for Troup? What about Daingerfield boys and girls? Any state qualifiers?

Chris Jones was second in the LJ with a 22'2. The boys 800R finished 2nd also and Akeysha Moore was second in the girls shot for Daingerfield to qualify for state.
Congrats to Jefferson on their Regional championship, their kids competed well and they deserve the win.
Good Luck to all of them in Austin.
