The top 2 sprinters in East Texas period are both in the same district. Darius Jones in the 100, Cobi Hamilton in the 200. Both have a chance to go to state in these runs. Both are also in the toughest region in the state in 4a, so it will be tough. Jones took 3rd last year at regionals in the 100.
Terrance Simon from Palestine has ran a 10.6 100 this year as a sophomore.

Looking back at my first post, I may have known what I was talking about. Darius Jones did qualify for state in the 100 with a 10.51. Cobi Hamilton took 4th in the 100, but he did end up qualifying for state in the 200. No doubt the top 2 sprinters in East Texas. A chance to be among the top in the entire state.
