Playing Celina in the Region Final later this week who won 9-0 against Princeton tonight.

Shelby pitched fantastic, and the girls were spot on on their defense...
Left some runners on base, but just happy to see the win... Go Vandals.

Van relied on fantastic defense and timely hitting against a very good pitcher to pull this shutout. Once again, Shelby threw strikes and let her defense work. Great job girls!! Good luck versus the Lady Bobcats.

I've been to the last two Van softball games and was really impressed with the discipline on the team. From what I'd read on here, I was kind of afraid that wouldn't be so. I'd also like to tell Van how nice and neat their suits looked. All their shirts tucked in and everyone looking the same. I'm not for sure what the light blue hair ribbons are for, but if it makes you play that well, keep wearing them. Girls, you played a great game. Prosper, it's nice to be able to beat you at something. You have a great pitcher and catcher and your fans love you. I loved their enthusiasm. Nice people.
