Go Magic......
CoachTobinReid
I still say Cleveland. I did not see this coming at all. That is why you play the game. You don't play it on paper.
wildcatphs
Cleveland doesn't have anyone who can defend Howard, Turkulu or Lewis, Plus Orlando won the season series with the Cavs. Give me the Magic in 6 thumbsup.gif

lebron can guard either turkoglu or lewis but not both...that is why the key to this series is...............joe smith. he has to come in and keep up with hedo imo...cleveland NEEDS HELP OFF THE BENCH

cavs in 6

if you can't watch lebron james and not be impressed then you have no soul

Cleveland got lucky last night. Orlando will win this seiers and Cleveland will be lucky if it goes 6 games.

lebron james hitting a three pointer is not luck...he is the best in the game right now...why would it be considered lucky?
WestRusk85
He just threw it up and it went in, he was lucky Orlando will win the seiers.

lebron is the best player in the NBA, but not even close to the best 3-point shooter. So for him to catch and shoot a 3-pointer and make it with just one second left is a little bit lucky.

But look at how many game winning 3 pointers LeBron has made. There is no one in the league that can make game winning shots like him. There is no way you can say it was luck. No one is saying he is the best 3-point shooter, but he is the best playmaker.

Honestly that is the first game winning 3-pointer I have ever seen Lebron make. Unfortunately, as much as I despise Kobe I think he is the player I would trust most to make a game winning shot.

Then don't say it was luck. How about watching him play first? That might help. If you would like an example from this year... At Golden State, down by 2 i believe... LeBron makes the game winning 3.

As of about halfway through the 09 season LeBron James is the game winning shot leader in the NBA since his career started. 17-50 .340 on game winning or tying shots. notworthy.gif

As for Kobe, 14-56 .250 hmm.gif but still, isn't bad.

This isn't just 3-pointers. I could not find those stats
WestRusk85
Well the Magic have taken a 2-1 lead and on Tuesday could really put it on the Cavs with a win. Like I said Cleveland will be lucky to get this one passed a game 5. Orlando is just to good for Cleveland, the Cavs might have the best player, but the Magic has the better team. One player isn't going to win you a Championship. GO MAGIC.

thats the thing right now....his teammates that were so reliable during the regular season have disappeared....especially mo williams...lebron is a freak, but can't do it on his own.

orlando lives and dies by the 3 ball...they have been super hot this series. i still say orlando needs this next game because cleveland probably won't lose at home again.

Magic take a 3-1 lead with a 116-114 OT win. This was a great game and has been a great seiers. Orlando needs to go ahead and finish Cleveland off on Thursday night.

cavs are still alive...a win at home puts Orlando in a tight situation...even being up 3-2

did anyone else notice lebron had 3 turnovers and an airball that led to a shot clock violation...all in the overtime period
ramsn03
Just shows it takes more than 1 player to win, he can't control the ball all 24 seconds, then take a shot, and later on expect teammates to do something, when they are never in flow of game, I see them standing around watching a lot of the times.

thats their fault...not lebrons...orlando had excellent ball movement last night...cleveland doesn't have a player who wants to step up. mo williams showed he is all talk.
tigerfan1165
I know everyone likes LeBron and he's a great player but you can't blame his teammates for everything. The last two games LeBron has shot 42% from the field, missed 10 free throws, and has committed 10 turnovers, including 8 last night. He has 18 turnovers in this series compared to 13 combined through the first two series. He has also taken 110 shots in 4 games against Orlando. He is taking almost 8 more shots a game than the first two series.

He also had two free throws to take the game into overtime. Do you understand how much pressure that is? Then in overtime, he makes a nearly impossible 3-pointer to bring them within one point. He did what he could to win the game.

You can't complain with what he is doing for the team. Just face it, they are playing a great team. He is averaging 42 points per game in the series!!!!!! Was easily in reach of a triple double last night. His teammates have played great all year but have let him down this series, so he is stepping up to do what he can.

And stevosev7 you say Mo Williams is all talk. Here's an example. The first round of the playoffs this year, the Celtics were playing the Bulls. Ray Allen, who some say has the best jump-shot/3-point shot of all time, had something like 6 points through 4 games. Does that mean he is all talk? No. Mo Williams was one of the most consistant 3-point shooters in the league this year. He is having a bad series. It happens. If that's not enough, Dirk Nowitski played horrible in the '06 Finals. What does he do? He comes back and is the league MVP the next year. One series doesn't make someone all talk. thumbsup.gif

you could not be more wrong...mo williams has not shot over 35% from the field in 6 games...and for him to tell reporters that he guarentees a win, then goes out and shoots 5-15 and 0-3 from 3pt land...thats all talk and no show.

btw, maybe you should WATCH basketball before puttin up numbers...ray allen had 30 points in game two of that series, 18 in game 3, 28 in game 4, 10 in game 5, 51 in game 6, and 23 in game seven..........he not only showed up in that series WITH A KEY PLAYER INJURED, but he did not go on record saying he guarentees a win.

its crazy to compare ray allen to mo williams anyway...allen is a future hall of famer.

as for dirk...MVP is a regular season award...between the time they went up 2-0 on the heat in '06 and meeting up with the spurs this year, the mavs went 3-12 in the post season. all of your "examples" only go to show that regardless of how you play in the regular season........you better show up come playoff time. Lebron has...his team has not.

I would say 6-9 from behind the arc isn't too bad.

y let lebron score that way. Double his butt everytime and make the other people make shots.

last night was lebrons best game of the playoffs...he hit right at his avg for points in the playoffs but the rebs and assists were up. shows what a great difference it makes when you can count on your teammates to hit shots when you dish the ball off.

He took over the 4th quarter with I believe 17 points, and 37pts overall. But the triple-double with points, assists and rebounds really won them the game. Daniel Gibson and Mo Williams had some big shots towards the end of the game. I wonder how long Lebron can he keep putting on this show.

i agree completely...this series really concludes tomorrow...i understand that the cavs still must win two in a row, but if they win in Orlando there will be no stopping them when they get home for game 7.

It's going to be a Lakers/Magic Finals.
WestRusk85
Like I said in the first post on here Orlando would win the seiers in 6, man I'm good. Hopefully the Magic can keep it up and take the NBA Championship. GO MAGIC.
