Yankee nation? Are you freaking kidding me??? Get a life.
You know, even though Chase is a yanks fan at least he realizes, to some extent, that the majority of you guys are impossible to even stomach to the rest of the sports world.
Yankee nation is a couple thousand miles northeast of here, if you are that interested in being a part of it maybe a change of scenery would do you well.

I'll take the mantle whole heartedly. I have a fondness for all fans of the Yankee Nation. I don't wear panties, so

David Smoak for suggesting such, on air, I might add. The Yankee Nation are what we are, if you can't beat us then join us. We don't back down from any fight, and we never tire. There is only one goal in life and that is remaining free and winning a World Series Championships, anything less is failure. If we do not accomplish those goals, we are the scum of the earth and deserve to be spit upon. We become the dregs of your society, by not accomplishing our task.
Breathing isn't the only thing, Winning Is. The day that a Yankee fan or player does not live to this creed shall be banished from the team.

I love "The Assassin", hopefully he got the monkey off his back against Tampa Bay. I'm not going to give up on him as many Yankees fans have. I understand that he's getting older, but maybe he needs more hecklers like me screaming "Coobaa, Coobaa, Coobaa" in his ears from the crowd. I wish there would have been a few yesterday, when I was on pins and needles.
I have to give kudo's to the Yankees today. They were down and came right back to work, but had a scare going into the late innings. Thanks to the Rangers, we're tied for the best record in the AL. Just remember, the Yankees always get fired up in August, that's when they make their push.
I'd rather have Bucky Dent or Graig Nettles at 3rd, than A-Rod :

It's still a nail biter tonight with the Yanks up by 1, but at bat in the 8th. Nice shots by Tex, Swisher, and Damon. I've gotta keep the faith in The Assassin, that he will mow them down tonight. Somehow, I have a feeling that Giarardi might use a different closer. We'll see.

Jun 8 2009, 07:49 PM
The Assassin came through along with the insurance home run from Jeter. We're a full game up in the East, and the Yankees always play better in late July and August. Texas is letting us down, but great to see Rivera shutting down the Rays.

It's early in Bahstan, Wang gave up a run early. Posada answered back with a shot, Matsui follows with a double. Wang needs run support, he's been shaky this year. More to come later.
DaveTV1

Wang needs to be sent to the minors or traded. He had a good year last year, but...he's not getting the job done. He needs to get his confidence back, because he's missing something.

I'd rather see a newcomer from the minors. It's been a great defensive game tonight, and I hope we don't get swept. I know they have their brooms out in Bahstan. The Yankees need to rally, and show that they aren't afraid to go to beanerville.

I've been bleeding the last couple of days. I need more than a 8-4 win against the hapless Braves. I think Sabathia needs a break, but who are the Yankees going to use ? We have a couple of more weeks until the All Star break. The Yankees pitching staff needs that break. I know that the Yankees get hot in August and September, but I still hate seeing my team lose.

"When you come to a fork in the road, take it" . We may not be able to count to two, but that's because there are more rings to add to the fingers. Jeter's out with the flu, Posada comes through with a shot tonight. The Yankees are coming around.
The only black eye has been that steroid infused, overpaid sack of monkey doo dah day batting .227 and surpassing Mr. October this week. He should be banned from the league permanently. The best in baseball, hmmmphhh. He's a loser. He's the Dan Fouts, Dan Marino, Danny White, and Tony Romo of the Baseball world. All stats and no rings. It's time to trade that dead weight to a team that will offer anything for him. He isn't Yankee material.

"The Assassin" got save #500, and there is still the hot summer months to go through. I've been very happy with the winning streak, and I have to give the Orioles some kudo's tonight. The race is getting tighter, and the All-Star break is approaching. Joe Giarardi, seems to understand his team, but I am still uptight about the Steroid Boy on third. I have a bad feeling about him. He usually does something stupid to hurt the team in the stretch to the World Series.
It was a good game tonight. He sent one out of the park, but he needs to understand that he can't lead the Yankees. A-Fraud is not a leader.

With Roy Halladay coming in, and Wang on the mound. I thought today might be a lost cause for the Yanks. Jorge Posada did me proud today. Happy Birthday George, on a day that will always be remembered for a farewell speech given by one of the greatest men that has ever walked the face of this earth. Lou, you were a class act. If I recall from reading about him, when they x-rayed his right hand. He had 27 bones that had been broken, but he played through the pain. Unfortunately, he was stricken by ALS.
All good things must come to an end, and I hated that the Yankees couldn't make it 11 against the Mariners. However the Mariners stepped up to the plate and took care of the Red Sox. Wang needs some minor league work. I don't know what his problem is, but he was pitching like Livan Hernandez.
Go Yankees !!

How Sweep it is for the Yankees to come through for a change. I saw the Chien-Ming had bursitus problems, and that's why he's been pitching like a Rangers pitcher in the August heat. I thought he should have been on the disabled list after his first 4 losses.
It's time for the "Drunken Sailor" to ante up, and bring Jake Peavy to the Bronx. Jake isn't Chan Ho "Outta da" Park, he's a proven pitcher. The trade deadline is coming up, and I think Jake would be a sweet addition to the YANKEES .

There is nothing better than a 10-2 win over the Senators/Twins, to make your blood pump. "Tex" had a great game tonight, and I'm sure he's glad he's on the team that Ruth built. Unlike the most over rated player in baseball, there are team players on this Yankees team.

Good luck, and I wish. Hallady is a great pitcher, but Tor isn't going to trade him to the Yanks. If I were Brian Cashman, I'd be doing everything to bring Halladay and Peavy to the Yanks. Toronto will not deal them to a percieved rival.
It was another great game tonight, the Yankees are rolling into the dog days of summer. When others go soft, the Yankees seem to catch fire. We're still one game out, but our batters and pitchers are trained to deal with the heat. I'm very happy with the way the Yankees are playing. I can't bash under .250 enough, he's worthless. Jeter has been around for a while, and he's batting .315. Cano is doing great.

The Yanks are in L.A., to play against the hated Angels. I hate the Angels for many reasons. They swept the Senators, I mean Twins, but that's no big feat. The Yankees are battling it out against those rally monkey loving freaks.

Unfortunately, it was the other way around. The Yanks were swept. Maybe they were taking a vacation with the All Star Break looming. It was a great pitching duel today, and the Yanks pulled it out. I will give the club house cancer some kudos for his shot today. C.C. pitched a good game, and the Assassin closed the deal. I'm breathing easier now. We still have a half season to go.

Two ex-Rangers won the game for us today, and we swept the Tigers. Toronto has helped us out, and there's light at the end of the tunnel. We're not in first, but the Yankees are only one game back. I still worry about the playoffs, when that's when everything matters. In the meantime, I'll savor today. I'm a homer, and won't stop for the Yankees.

The Yankees have won 10 of 11 since the All*Star break. The recovery from a -3 games back to a +3, has been wonderful to watch. The Yankees are heading down to Tampa for a resurgent Rays team, that has played some great baseball as well. They mowed down the Jay's, but I don't think their fans will give us much trouble.
A.J. is on the mound, and he's been on fire lately. Let's go Yankees !!
DaveTV1
Jul 27 2009, 11:07 PM
Great game for A.J. Burnett. C.C. is on the mound tomorrow, and I think he'll take care of business. It's always tough on opposing teams fields, but the Yankees will probably lose the third game. Oakland has been in a skid with the Yankees, and now with the hated Red Sox in town. The A's need to rebound, and show the Red Sox that they can play some baseball.
The best thing for the Yankees to do is to take the sails out of the Rays. Go
