TSN's Top 60 Prospects

Is it Friday yet?!?!

A native of Dallas, Chris Brown, will look to be the highest Texan ever drafted in the NHL Draft this coming weekend. I'd predict him to be taken in the 30s, maybe early 40s.

Not sure how reliable he is...but he's there at the draft and is on the floor (media floor at least).

Um wow.

I just learned that sources around the Colorado Avalanche at No. 3 are indicating a certainty that the Islanders are going to select Brampton center Matt Duchene. Considering how much No. 2 Tampa Bay wants Swedish defenseman Victor Hedman, the Avs are anxiously looking forward to high-scoring John Tavares falling to them.

Who the heck is Scott Glennie.........

Jesus Christ. Major disappointment.
LoboFan07
We went through that entire awful season for Scott Glennie.

Yea...he better work out.

Scouting reports...

QUOTE
Hockey News: He's an ultra competitive kid who came back stronger than ever from his (elbow) injury. But he also has a very good array of skills with a very good shot and above average skating ability...He has great hockey sense.

McKeen's: Glennie is a very determined player with a non-stop motor. He is fearless in his approach and thrives in going into the dirty areas to dig out pucks for his teammates. Glennie often comes out with the pucks and has the vision to spot his teammates going to the slot. His ability to play in traffic is top-notch.

Red Line Report: Combines nice hands and strong work ethic. Tremendous improvement in skating and is now one of the fastest players in the draft. ... Players with energy and isn't afraid to mix it up in the heavy going or take a hit. Will need to improve overall strength - is very slight and gets knocked down a lot.

ISS: A highly skilled offensive forward who can set it up and also finish. Great passer and shooter. ... He needs to improve the defensive and physical side of his game to create more room for himself at the next level.

Not mad that we picked him. Am mad that we didn't trade down and get an extra pick or two for him....he surely would've been around in the late teens.

Jordan Schoeder and John Moore still available.

How Dallas can not trade up for a chance like this is beyond me.
LoboFan07
So much for that.

How disappointing.
LoboFan07
