Two a days begin on August 3rd! (And I'm not talking about football here) Hopefully East Texas can get someone to represent in San Marcos in November!

Maybe it will take a few weeks for the vball fans to start getting cranked up.

Not sure who has the best chance to make it to state from ET. Looking at last year's playoffs, no 4A or 5A teams went very deep. Must be tough to get past the Dallas area schools. Some teams that made decent playoff runs: Paris in 3A, White Oak and Harmony in 2A and Beckville and Big Sandy in 1A. Don't know what any of these teams return for this season, but would guess White Oak has as good a shot as anyone to represent ET at state.

Big Sandy lost alot we were loaded with seniors last year. This year i dont think we will have any seniors unless we have a move in.

don't count out centerville and leon

I expect Centerville and White Oak to meet up again in the regional finals.

So, who's countin' down the hours until two-a-days start?? Almost time to pull up the knee pads and strap on the ankle braces. Are you ready for some volleyball?! (Sorry, just trying to emulate many of our esteemed colleagues on the football side ...)

Big Sandy will def. be rebuilding this year, but I hear the girls are ready to do just that. They start at 12:01am!!!

The midnight start is a cool idea. Probably exciting for the girls; plus, most of them would rather be up at that hour than early this AM.

Good luck to all of the volleyball athletes this week and throughout the season. We know that there is more to fall than pigskin.

Anyone know anything about Beckville this year? I know they lost the senior outside hitter from last year who was a really good player. What do they have this year?
