Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Time, once again, to send Suddenlink an email or two and let them know what I think...

WHAT? THEY DID? w00t.gif I am in complete shock

'wonder if that means the KDFI games will be there this season ??? unsure.gif

My thoughts on the game...

1) Defensively we looked A LOT better. There were no bad breakdowns, and even when there was a mini 2 on 1 (there was never a full on free 2 on 1), the defenseman played it extremely well. The system of defensemen jumping into the play was definitely obvious and it made for a lot more chances.

2) Richards looked like a 7.8 million dollar paid player. He was all over the ice last night, as was Neal. Loui was the only one who looked out of place at times. But it's just the first game. Loui wll bounce back.

3) Modano looked awesome for most of the night, up until he got hurt in early part of overtime. Then blah after that. Morrow also was a little suspect but I fully expected it to take him a couple of weeks to get back into the groove of things.

4) Turco looked was average overall. The two goals he let in were obviously stoppable, but then again he made some saves that I thought for sure were going in and I thought for sure he would've let in last season.

Overall, it was a lot better effort than I was expecting. They definitely deserved a better fate than a 3-2 shootout loss. But for the first game in a completely new system with a new coach and everything pretty much new, it was encouraging. I really liked how Crawford was rolling 4 complete lines. Even with one minute to go, he still had Brunnstrom and others out there. Overall, it looks like we have a great team to look forward to if they can learn how to finish. Definitely can't wait to see how this team looks come January.

Off for a tough 3 game trip in Western Canada.

Not sure...would be nice! Picture quality was poor on 96 and for some reason, the volume level kept going up and down on my old school TV.

Better than nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah -- ch. 96 had that same problem with Rangers games a few years ago, before the KFDI games were moved to ch. 2 (KYTX) <------ HINT, HINT, Suddenlink!
