The Crockett senior division team also got beat. I believe they play at 7:00 tonight.

The best games to watch are up on the 12-yr-old field. The team from Lamar is as solid and well-coached of a team that I have seen since the team Lamar brought up here 6 years ago that won the whole deal. I wish our high-school pre-game infield was as crisp as that.

Crockett senior leaguers won last night. Play again tonight.

In the 11's, First Colony beat Jasper 3-2, with a walk off homer in the bottom of the 7th. Jasper had tied the game in the top of the 6th with a solo home run. Excellent game.

In the 12's, Bridge City came from 5-1 down going into the last to beat First Colony 7-6 in extra innings. There were tons of excellent plays in that game. Was fun to watch.

Update on the Bridge City 12 year old team. They play on ESPN2 tonight for the right to advance to Williamsport.

This is a team that came back from a 5-1 deficit in the last inning in the semifinals at Faulkner.
They also hit a 2 out, last inning grand slam with 2 strikes to beat Lamar in the first game of the finals.
They then beat Lamar again the next day to advance.
I think they also hit a walk off HR in one of their pool games this past week.

It will be neat to see those same kids playing on TV tonight.
