Next to Pine Dunes in Frankston this is as good course as you can play anywhere in East Texas.
That is a good deal.

If you give them your email address, Twin Lakes will send you all sorts of coupons throughout the year. It's my favorite course in North/East Texas.

We are very fortunate to have a nice group of great golf courses in East Texas.
Twin Lakes is right there with all of them, and they have some tough-as-nails holes.
I'm not sure which one it is---but a par 5 on the front nine is a monster.
It's a long, slender hole and I still haven't found the best way to play it. In fact, 2-3 of their par 5's were built by a man who was in a very bad mood.

You better nail two in the screws on each of them to even sniff par.

I've played Twin Lakes, and Pine Dunes both several times,,, and my vote goes to Twin Lakes for beauty, but maybe Pine Dunes for difficulty. I've just never scored well at PD. Both are nice places though. Wish they were both closer to Gilmer. LOL

LOL. I agree. I play in a tournament every year there and its defintely a challenging course. Good thing its a scramble, I'd hate to see what I would shoot there on my own. I can almost guarantee that it would have 3 digits in it.
