I am headed to San Antonio with Craig and Tim Thompson to cover the first portion of Cowboys Training Camp.

We are developing a link that should be available later tonight and by Tuesday morning.

We hope to have player and coach interviews on podcast availability, pictures from practice, and a barrage of information throughout camp and from the rest of the NFL.

I really like Smoaky's new Cowboys blog as camp is just opening up.


What would really be good, if David is not doing any high school play by play this year, would be to blog live from a high school game of the week. Better yet, blog live from each game of the Rose Classic. I would be interested in reading his observations live without the contraints of him having to broadcast the game or merely reflecting on it later. Unfiltered, in other words.

The blogs are becoming such a better, more timely souce of info than the sports pages. Often I will read something on the DMN beat writers blogs, for the Cowboys or Rangers, that doesn't hit the news for a day or two.
