I read some are saying the worst since 1950. But then that drought extended into Oklahoma
I was told and lasted about seven years. Check the map:

The map itself almost looks like it is on fire and I saw on the news about a week ago a big portion of
Bexar County was on fire, literally.

I was in North Austin two weeks ago. Passing through Hamilton , Texas I was surprised the pastures were
green, people were bailing hay and ponds appeared pretty full. Between Hamilton and Lampasas it was as
though there was a line marking total dryness. I think that is the case extending on south of that line.

that map dont look good. guess we'll find out labor day how bad things are first hand. may wind up doing more hunting up here.
