At least the Bosox and Angels lost yesterday so we didn't lose any ground.
Still need to put more wood on the horsehide.

I like our chances of taking two games today in another double header. We need to make a strong run over these next few series so we can stay in serious contention for the last few games of the season. We need MY to get healthy and also Hamilton. The longer they stay out the smaller of a window we have of making this playoffs this season IMO

The answer is actually
YES. Sorry but on a September Friday night in East Texas... the place to be is at the local football game. However, September Friday at the Ballpark comes in a close 2nd!

Great job by Scott Feldman today. 16 WINS!!!!!! I'd love to see them sweep the Angels at home. That would really put pressure on the West race.

AGAIN – we will have to agree to disagree on this one!

So, for the sake of friendly discussion . . . if the Rangers were hosting Game 7 of the World Series on a Friday night, you guys would
still prefer a local football game? Really ???

Nope! love Friday night football, but it will never trump a Rangers baseball game, even if they weren't in the race!
Cheapy--I will be there with ya! Friday Sept 18th at the Ballpark to watch the Rangers win game one against the Angels!

game 7 of the world series is different than game 148 of a losing, no hope season...<<in this case...give me highschool football...
here is a question for you...It's game 7 of the world series on a SATURDAY when your team is playing in texas stadium for the Texas High School State Championship. What do you do...?

The Rangers aren't having a "losing" season
World Series > Texas High School State Championship Game
...no matter WHO is playing!

I agree with you Cheapy! I don't care who is playing football--if there is a baseball game I can get to, I will be there instead. I just LOVE baseball.
