George Strait is the only person listed that I would actually consider a country singer, but I grew up on Charley Pride, George Jones, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and the Statler Brothers.

thats what nashville is trying to pass off as country. theres some great music out there, you just might have to look for it. are there any great rock bands, r &b , etc. that are better than the mainstream guys?
