You know, I just want to know what happened in the world of sports that I may have missed. I dont want to see a comedy routine or hear what you think are clever little jokes. Just the facts please!

^ THANK YOU!

Like MTV and
Rolling Stone magazine, ESPN is a mere shell of its past greatness.
'happens to all things great

...and another thing: HEY STUART SCOTT -- your knowledge of rap/hiphop "lyrics" does not impress me . . . you are a 44-year-old man --
GROW UP

Dear ESPN:
Fill thine horn with oil - and go (away).

Yeah. If Stu wants to be all "thug-life" and "gangsta", then he needs to get into this decade with his street talk. This flowed over into the local media, & for a while it got kind of hard to stomach some of the local sportscasters. Too many goofy one-liners and "Bremanisms". BTW, Chris Berman CAN pull it off!!

I never could stand Berman. His stupid little Bermanisms are tired and lame. Dan Patrick was the only guy ESPN ever had that was worth a !@$#, and they weren't smart enough to keep him.

As I try to watch ESPN each morning before I am forced to change it to Saved By the Bell at 6:00, not only do I get tired of the comedy routine, but it seems lately that each commercial break, I am given tips on how to be a dad by our President. GolfCentral on the Golf Channel is now my show of choice at that hour.
Mike and Mike in the morning is ok on ESPN2, but the show is actually more watchable when at least one of the Mike's is absent.

I probably dont watch a 1/4 of ESPN as I used to. Thanks to Direct-TV and their NFL and MLB networks.

M & M is about the only watchable show on ESPN. The Herd is tolerable. ESPN is 1000X better than anything Fox Sports has. The "Best #$% sports show ever" or whatever it's called is dreadful.

I agree with you on TBDSSP (100% USDA Grade A Rubbish), but I will take
The Final Score over
SportsCenter any time...

The only show I watch consistently is Pardon The Interuption, I love that show. Other than that I usually just flip on ESPN News and watch the bottom bar.

I agree. I think TBDSSP needs to be relocated to Spike TV. Its a joke to a real sports fan, and doesn't need to be on a sports channel. They're more interested in entertaining drunk college kids. I do like, though, on Fox Sports, their coverage of High School Football. If only that 50 something year old guy would get rid of his teenage hair-cut. He just looks silly to me.

I do not want to get political talk from sports anchors.
I only like around the horn and that is ony if Tim Callashaw from the DMN is on it and I have not watched that show in months
