Davis, a third-baseman for Triple-A Oklahoma, started the season with the Texas Rangers, and through 60-games was hitting .333 with 8 homeruns, 45 runs batted in, 13 doubles, 2 triples, 32 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Former Wills Point and Tyler Lee High School multi-sport star Ty Wright has been promoted to the Cubs Triple-A franchise, the Iowa Cubs.
Wright, a left-fielder, hit .298 with 10-HR's and 51-RBI in the first half for Double-A Tennessee Smokies.

Cincinnati outfielder Drew Stubbs hit three home runs on Sunday as the Reds beat Chicago, 14-3.
Stubbs, the former multi-sport star at Atlanta High School also drove in five runs in the win.

Center wide receiver Ty Hubbard has given his verbal commitment to play college football at McNeese State University.
Hubbard, 6-1, 162, 4.46, caught 36-passes for 704-yards and 12-TD's during his junior season. He was also named the Co-Offensive Player of the Year in District 18-3A, All-Smoaky.com, All-District in basketball, and a regional track qualifier in three events.
