Chargers, Corsicana's Vasquez agree to terms
Chargers and offensive tackle Louis Vasquez have agreed to a four-year contract, including an $800,000 signing bonus.
Vasquez, a third-round pick out of Texas Tech played his high school football at Corsicana.

Big Sandy Hires Larry Minter as AD/Football Coach
Larry Minter has been hired as the new athletic director and head football
coach at his alma mater, Big Sandy High School.
Minter, a 1991 graduate of Big Sandy told David Smoak, "I just look forward to being in this position in my hometown, I had a great experience in athletics when I was here in high school and I want the student-athletes to enjoy that from now into the future."
5 East Texans ranked among Rivals.com's National Top 250...
As we told you yesterday, Daingerfield wide receiver Chris Jones was ranked as the #84 player in the nation by recruiting service Rivals.com. Well today they came out with their Top 250 and 4 more East Texans joined the list. Coincidentally, all five are committed to the University of Texas. OU signs a late-bloomer from Kilgore College
Lane Johnson, 6-7, 255, 4.53, who played at Groveton High School and most recently at Kilgore College, has signed a scholarship to play football at Oklahoma.
Johnson, who played quarterback in 2008 at Kilgore College and practiced as a tight end during the spring, will report to workouts on August 5th, and will have four years to play three.
Kilgore College football coach J.J. Eckert confirmed the signing on Tuesday night and told David Smoak, "He's going to be a really good football player for Oklahoma and having three years left is even better, especially with some of their tight ends leaving after this season, Lane's upside is unlimited."
Johnson also had offers from Rice, Southern Miss, and T.C.U..
Johnson graduated from Groveton in May 2008, and was an All-State selection at quarterback and an All-Smoaky.com selection at defensive back.

Daingerfield wide receiver Chris Jones remains among the rivals.com Top 100 college prospects in America and is currently ranked #84 overall.
Rivals.com released their latest Top 100 list on Tuesday.
Jones, 6-0, 172, 4.4, who has committed to Texas, was previously ranked #76 and remains the #10 wide receiver in the country.
