Smoaky.com has learned Terry Anderson resigned as AD/Head Football Coach at Rivercrest High School.
Anderson was 10-20 in three years at Rivercrest.

Smoaky.com has learned Maud High School has hired Charlie Coker as their new athletic director and head football coach.
Coker, an assistant the past four years at Sulphur Springs High School, replaces Josh Finney who took a similar position at Teague High School.
Coker told David Smoak, "This is a major day for me and our family, I've always dreamed of this day and although it came a little earlier than I thought, I know I'm ready and I'm prepared."
Coker's father Jim, is currently an assistant coach at Quinlan Boles and he's about to join the staff at Quinlan Ford. He was also a head coach at Edgewood, Prosper, and Lone Oak.

Lee Ann Riley resigns as SFA women’s basketball coach
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack head basketball coach Lee Ann Riley has resigned Director of Athletics Robert Hill announced Monday afternoon. SFA will immediately begin a national search to find a replacement.

Tyler Lee cornerback Cortland Browning, 6-2, 195, 4.41, has given his verbal commitment to play college football for the Missouri Tigers.
He is scheduled to visit the campus on April 17th.
Browning, who committed on Saturday night, becomes the first Red Raider to commit for the Class of 2011, and also the first to commit to Missouri out of greater-East Texas.
He told Smoaky.com, "I've had two programs I really followed growing up and Missouri was one of them," Browning added, "I really like those teams with Chase Daniel leading the way and he helped put Missouri back on the national map."

When Whitehouse wide receiver Trey Metoyer received his first letter from a college program it came from the University of Oklahoma and dozens more followed from programs throughout the country. Two years later, the blue-chip receiver has given his verbal commitment to the Sooners.
Metoyer, who measures in at 6-2, 198 lbs, and is a member of the rivals.com Top 250, called Oklahoma assistant coach Jay Norvell, “I appreciate the consideration of you offering me, and I want to come to Oklahoma to help carry on the tradition and most importantly, win a national championship.”
