Whitehouse approves Adam Cook as Head Football Coach

Adam Cook is the new head football coach at Whitehouse High School after being approved by the Whitehouse I.S.D. school board on Monday night, "This means a great to me and my family and I'm blessed to have this opportunity, I've been in Whitehouse for seven years and as you know, you covered us, you understand, there's been something special going on here for the last several years."

Marshall Coaching Search Update...

Marshall I.S.D. wanted to recommend a candidate to the school board on Monday, February 18th, but due to logistics and scheduling conflicts, they'll push the recommendation and approval back to Monday, February 25th.

Brakel resigns at Union Hill, headed to Ellison High

Union Hill Athletic Director/Head Football Coach Jerry Brakel has resigned to accept the position of Offensive Coordinator at Ellison High School in Killeen.

Brakel once worked for Ellison Head Coach Trent Gregory at Mansfield Timberview and will reunite in Killeen.

Brakel was 0-9 in his only year with the Bulldogs.

John Tyler's Ross Makes The Switch

I just received an updated list for National Signing Day from John Tyler head football coach Ricklan Holmes, and it is showing blue-chip wide receiver Fred Ross, 6-1, 185, going to Mississippi State.

Ross, once committed to Oklahoma State finished his senior season with
86-catches for 1,594-yards, 21-TDs, 28-carries for 165-yards, 3-TDs.
