Sunday, 19th August 2012 - 7:44PM
Sources have confirmed that Deion Sanders' Prime Prep will NOT play varsity football games this season in District 11-3A.
Prime Prep has numerous transfers from other school districts that wouldn't be eligible to play this season since some of the paperwork alludes to transferring for "athletic reasons." And, sources also told Smoaky.com Prime Prep would not be able to field some varsity sports and leave a void in the schedule(s) with schools from District 11-3A. One of Prime Prep's non-district games, September 28th against Pittsburg is also in jeopardy. Pirates head coach Robert Manley told David Smoak, "That district ruling was on my radar and now I need to scramble to figure out if that game is out and if yes, quickly find another non-district opponent." District 11-3A includes Ferris, Dallas Madison, Dallas Roosevelt, and Wilmer-Hutchins. |
