Chicago Bears rookie and former Tyler Junior College Apache Johnny Knox has been named the NFC's special teams player of the month for October.

The fifth-round pick out of Abilene Christian, averaged 28.9 yards per kick return in the month, including a touchdown.

Randy Grimes was an all-state offensive lineman at Tyler Lee, All-SWC at Baylor, and was a second-round draft pick of Tampa Bay.
