Traylon Shead's Countdown to History (Updated 11/14)

Traylon Shead and Cayuga beat Beckville, 64-21 on Friday, November 13th.

Shead rushed for 173-yards on 15-carries and 3-TD's, and remains SECOND ALL-TIME in career rushing yards and is THIRD ALL-TIME in career touchdowns with 131.

Shead and Cayuga will play Simms Bowie in the second-round of the playoffs.

Caddo Mills running back Nate Jeffery continued his climb up the career touchdowns ladder this week, and moved into SECOND PLACE ALL-TIME with 4-TD's and has 132-career touchdowns. Jeffery also jumped to FOURTEENTH ALL-TIME in career rushing yards with 288-yards on 47-carries in a 29-28 victory against Kerens.

Caddo Mills will play Grandview in the second-round of the playoffs.

Darian Godfrey Update (through Gilmer's 57-21 victory against Jasper in the Bi-District playoff round):

Gilmer senior Darian Godfrey is making a move among the greatest quarterbacks in Texas history. Godfrey, who is 37-3 as a starter with the Buckeyes, completed 12-16 passes for 216-yards and 3-TD's as the Buckeyes beat Jasper, 57-21. Gilmer will meet Waco La Vega in the Class 3-A Area Round on Saturday, November 21st, 2:00pm at Memorial Stadium in Mesquite.

Godfrey has thrown for 109-TD's in his career, and now tied for SIXTH ALL-TIME in Texas history, (Graham Harrell, 167; Garrett Gilbert, 137; G.J. Kinne, 132; Colt McCoy, 116; Drew Tate, 114; Darian Godfrey, 109; Chandler Dane, 104; Riley Dodge, 102; Stephen McGee, 101)
