PUNTER:

Brady Jones, Sr., Tyler Lee, 41.65-average on 37-punts, Long-62, allowed only 3-return yards all season.

DEEP SNAPPER:

Sam Oney, Sr., Marshall – also played LB at Marshall, but was incredibly consistent as the Mavericks deep-snapper on punts, XP’s, and FG’s. Mavericks averaged three punt snaps per game and 6-XP snaps per game over 13-games. An average (not including possible field goals) of 9-deep snaps per game, approximately 117-snaps during the season and not one single game-changing mistake from Oney’s snaps.

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

Tristan Holt, Sr., Gilmer, 2-KR TD’s, 3-PR TD’s

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

DeMarcus Brown, Sr., Center, 17-returns for 23.3 average, including 6-TD's.

COVERAGE MAN:

Kendall King, Sr., Paris, 6-blocked kicks, 3-TD's.

Fernando Arellano, Sr., Sulphur Springs, 14-19 FG's, 37-41 XP's.

PUNTER:

Collin Bradley, Jr., Hallsville, 31-punts for 39.8-average (Long of 80), and 8 downed inside the 10-yard line.

DEEP SNAPPER:

Britton Eastburn, Jr., Longview, despite a torn ACL suffered before the season, Eastburn refused surgery and helped solidify the Lobos kicking game.

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

Devin Figures, Sr., Jefferson, 3-TD's

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

Jacob Wheeler, Sr., Winona, 4-TD's

COVERAGE MAN:

Tamil Harris, Sr., Gilmer, 30-Tackles on special teams, 3-time special teams player of the week.

Brit Whitfield, Sr., Tyler Lee, a flawless season of XP/FG and Punt deep snaps for one of the best special teams groups in East Texas.

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

LaQuintas Wallace, Fresh., Tyler Lee, averaged 49.0-yards on 9-kick returns, including 99-yard TD.

KICK/PUNT RETURNER:

Ja'Derrick Norris, Jr., Joaquin, averaged 28.3-yards on 8-kick returns and 1-TD, plus 13-punt returns for a 30.9-yard average and 2-TD's.

COVERAGE MAN:
