We'll begin combining Six-Man, 1-A and 2-A into one Top 10 for the rest of the season.

The opening weekend will always bring a surprise or two, but this past weekend just hammered away at some of the elite perennial powers in East Texas.

Remember, these Top 10's are a combination of approximately 250 programs in greater-East and Central Texas.

In some classes, I still think some of the teams that lost are just fine, and I'm not sold on who I have at #1 in a couple of places. Longview is a hard to team to rank right now with such a rare lopsided loss and the injury to Bivins Caraway.

Lord knows how many times things will change, especially in 2-A and 3-A with such great depth.
