Cayuga ISD names Russell Holden new Athletic Director

Cayuga ISD has named its new Athletic Director to replace Greg Jenkins who took a similar position recently at Tenaha ISD.

Monday night, theCayuga ISD has named its new Athletic Director to replace Greg Jenkins who took a similar position recently at Tenaha ISD.

Monday night, the Cayuga Board of Trustees voted Cayuga assistant Russell Holden the new Athletic Director at Cayuga ISD.

Holden, a 15-year coach/educator, will soon be completing his fifth year with the Cayuga School District. Coach Holden was also part of a staff at San Antonio Alamo Heights which won the football state championship in Class 4A in 2006 by defeating Copperas Cove and their blue-chip quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Holden holds both a Bachelor and Master’s degree and has been a head track coach and both a offensive and defensive coordinator. Cayuga Board of Trustees voted Cayuga assistant Russell Holden the new Athletic Director at Cayuga ISD.
