Here are the offensive, defensive, and special teams "Players of the Week" as voted on by the Smoaky.com membership from the bi-district round.

Offense:

Scooter Ross, Garrison, 18-carries for 244-yards and 2-TD's, plus a 45-yard TD catch during Bulldogs 62-40 win against Leon.

Defense:

Steve Edmond, Daingerfield, 12-Tackles, 2-Int's for TD's (56, 25), as Tigers thumped New Diana, 68-14.

Special Teams:

Scooter Ross, Garrison, 86-yard Kick Return for a TD in the Bulldogs 62-40 win against Leon.

Here are some of the nominees...

Scooter Ross, Garrison, 18-carries for 244-yards and 2-TD's, plus a 45-yard TD catch during Bulldogs 62-40 win against Leon. Ross also returned a kick 86-yards for a touchdown and intercepted two passes.

Colton Lee, Sulphur Springs, 11-carries for 206-yards and 2-TD's (55, 56), and completed 10-20 passes for 99-yards and 2-TD's as Wildcats beat Lindale, 47-19.

Steve Edmond, Daingerfield, 12-Tackles, 2-Int's for TD's (56, 25), as Tigers thumped New Diana, 68-14.

Josh Moore, Texas High, 3-FG's (25, 30, 30) as Tigers beat Jacksonville, 22-20.
East Texas "Players of the Week"
Here are the East Texas "Players of the Week" based on membership voting involving games from November 5th-November 7th:

Offense:

Ted Burns, Pittsburg, 31-carries for school-record 390-yards, 5-TD's (5, 71, 8, 2, 49) and caught two passes for 21-yards as Pirates beat Pleasant Grove, 42-25.

Defense:

Trapper Kesinger, Cushing, 20-Tackles, 2-Interceptions as Cushing fell to Carlisle, 17-8.

Special Teams:

Chris Jones, Daingerfield, returned 2-Punts for TD's (64, 42) during Tigers 69-0 win against Queen City.

Ryan Bustin, Kilgore, 2-FG's (42, 40), 6-6 XP's and 6-Touchbacks as Bulldogs beat Nacogdoches, 48-28.
