Here are the East Texas "Players of the Week" as voted on by the membership for performances from the fourth-round of the state playoffs.
Offense:
Darian Godfrey, Gilmer, completed 13-28 passes for 166-yards, 1-Int, 1-TD (17), and ran for 149-yards on 18-carries and 5-TD's (5, 17, 5, 3, 68), the final TD was the game-winner with 2:04 left as Buckeyes beat Cuero, 42-36.
Defense:
DeShun Williams, Carthage, 17-Tackles, 3-TFL, 2-Sacks as Bulldogs beat Lorena, 28-21.
Special Teams:
Saul Martinez, Pittsburg, 2-3 FG's (26, 25) and 7-7 XP's, and 3-special teams tackles during Pirates 55-34 victory against Pleasant Grove.

Here are the East Texas "Players of the Week" based on membership voting for all 3rd-Round playoff games.
Offense:
Traylon Shead, Cayuga, 31-carries for 320-yards and 3-TD's (47, 93, 1) and in the process became the state's all-time leader in career TD's (137) during the Wildcats 38-29 victory against Lovelady.
Defense:
Koe Wetzel, Pittsburg, 26-Tackles as the Pirates beat Kennedale, 21-17.
Special Teams:
Jeffry Rico, Joaquin, averaged 57.6 yards on 3-punts (64, 58, 51) with 2 of the 3 being downed inside the 20 during the Rams 38-29 win against Riesel.
