John Tyler senior wide receiver Detrick Morgan has committed to Hardin Simmons University in Abilene.

Morgan was a do-it-all for the Lions his senior season, receiving, and returning punts and kicks.

Paris quarterback Quin Rollerson has committed to play college football at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls.

Rollerson, 6-5, 205, passed for 1,721-yards passing, 16-TD’s, was the District Offensive MVP, and Honorable Mention All-Smoaky.com.

Sulphur Springs safety Johnny McSheffery has committed to West Texas A&M University.

McSheffery, 6-0, 175, finished his senior season with 155-tackles, 1-TFL, 1-sack, 1-CF, 2-FR, 5-PBU, 1-Interception, All-State, and Honorable Mention All-Smoaky.com.

Texas High senior wide receiver Cobi Hamilton has committed to the University of Arkansas.

Hamilton, 6-3, 190, told David Smoak of KTBB Sports, "I have committed to Arkansas, and I'm very excited about this opportunity."

Hamilton, who recently visited The University of Texas, also told Smoak, "This was a very difficult decision, it was very hard."

Hamilton caught 64-passes for 1,071-yards and 14-TD's as a senior.

He was a first-team All-Smoaky.com selection.
