Sulphur Springs QB Rollison to Auburn
Sulphur Springs' record-breaking quarterback Tyrik Rollison has given a verbal commitment to the Auburn Tigers.
Rollison told KTBB Sports, "I was really looking at two other schools, but when Auburn got involved, and I got to know their environment and the players, I fell in love with everything." The No. 2 ranked dual-threat quarterback in America continued, "I am excited about this opportunity, and this continues a dream senior year for me."
He led Sulphur Springs to the Class 4-A Division II State Championship, throwing for 4,728-yards and 53-TD's, and rushing for 1,094-yards.
Mount Pleasant's Howard to Tarleton State
Mount Pleasant quarterback/athlete Terrell Howard has committed to play college football at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
Howard, 5-7, 170, completed 106 of 185 passes for 1,365-yards, 10-TD’s, 7-Interceptions, and ran for 755-yards on 144-carries, and 14-TD’s.
Daingerfield LB's commit to Tarleton State
Daingerfield linebackers Carl Moore and Julius Hurndon, have both committed to play college football at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
Moore, 6-0, 210, Sr., finished his senior season with 174-tackles, 7-sacks, 34-TFL, 9-CF, 2-FR, 1-interception for a TD, 4-PBU, was named All-State “and” Class 2-A Defensive Player of the Year, District Defensive MVP, and first-team All-Smoaky.com.
Hurndon, 5-10, 180, was also a first-team All-Smoaky.com selection, All-State, and recorded 149-tackles, 5-sacks, 25-TFL, 7-FR/returning 2 for TD’s, 2-interceptions, 3-PBU.

Canton defensive end Destry Hesskew has committed to Northwestern State University in Louisiana.
Heskew finished his senior year with 83-tackles, 14-TFL, 12-QB pressures, and was All-Smoaky.com honorable mention.
