Smoaky.com has learned that Elysian Fields athlete Joe Benefield has given his verbal commitment to play football next year for Fort Scott C.C. in Kansas.

Benefield (6'1 - 220 lbs) finished his senior season with 177 carries for 1,102 yards and 14 TD's. He also completed 33-of-56 passes for 477 yards and 2 TD from the "Wildcat" position.
