1998-2000 JH COORDINATOR @ HS

I am always looking for a great human interest or unique story, please share that information with me. : I AM SURE SOME WOULD MAKE IT A NEGATIVE BUT I DONT THINK IT IS MENTIONED ENOUGH. ITS TOUGH TO COACH YOUR OWN KID IN HIGH SCHOOL, AND NOT FOR SCRUTINY YOU RECIEVE BUT WHAT THEY HAVE TO ENDURE. THIS YEAR I WILL HAVE A SON WHO IS A JR AND NEPHEW (WHO IS LIKE MY SON) WHO IS A JR, A FRESHMAN THAT IS BIGGER THAN BOTH, AND MY 4TH GRADER IS WATERBOY. I HAVE THE OPPURTUNITY TO SPEND EVERY PRACTICE AND GAME DAY WITH MY CHILDREN. I TAKE THAT AS A TREMENDOUS BLESSING AND WKAE UP LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. I KNOW FEW DAD'S GET OPPORTUNITIES LIKE THESE. THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH MENTIONING.
What is the biggest challenge facing Texas High School Football right now? : THE SOCIAL MEDIA HYSTERIA OR BASICALLY THE UNKOWN. A COACH CAN BE ACCUSED, CONVICTED, AND PERSECUTED VIA SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEVER KNOW IT TILL DAYS, WEEKS, OR MONTHS LATER. MOST COACHES LIKE MYSELF HAVE THICK SKIN AND OVERCOME IT. THE PROBLEM IS TWO FOLD. THE COACH NEVER GETS TO DENOUNCE NOR DISPROVE THE ALLEGATION UNLESS HE JUST WANTS TO MAKE IT WORSE, AND WHEN THE KIDS SEE IT READ IT AND PERFORM OR ACT ACCORDING TO INFORMATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA. IT CAN BE SUCH A POSITIVE YET TURN YOU ON YOUR EAR AT THE SAME TIME.
