UT-Tyler softball team will play in the NJCAA Division III World Series in Montclair, New Jersey.

The Patriots earned a berth in the World Series after winning the West Regional Tournament in Marshall.

UT-Tyler will open the World Series against Gustavus Adolphus at 10:00am on Friday.

NCAA Division III

The UT-Tyler Patriots baseball team has been selected as the #2 seed in the West Regional at McMinnville, Oregon.

The Patriots will open the NCAA Division III regional tournament against #5 Chapman at 5:30pm on Wednesday.

East Texas Baptist University has been chosen as the host site for the 2009 NCAA Division III West Regional softball championship beginning Thursday, May 7th, at Taylor Field.

Seven teams, including ETBU, will compete for the right to advance to the 2009 NCAA Division III World Series in the double-elimination.
