Led the Tigers to their first ever state championship game appearance finishing 13-1 including an 82-34 loss to Benjamin in the Class 1-A Division II final. Dixon was an assistant coach at Jonesboro when they appeared in the state championship game. Dixon is 42-7 in four years at Oglesby.
