The "nutrients" that the Venus Fly Trap gets actually come from the insects it traps, if I'm not mistaken. Nutrient-rich soil is generally bad for fly traps, if I'm not mistaken.

Danny Lloyd was selected for the role of Danny Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" (1980) because of his ability to concentrate for extended periods of time. Because Lloyd was so young, and since it was his first acting job, Stanley Kubrick was highly protective of the child. During the shooting of the movie, Lloyd was under the impression that the film he was making was a drama, not a horror movie. In fact, when Wendy carries Danny away while shouting at Jack in the Colorado Lounge, she is actually carrying a life-size dummy, so Lloyd would not have to be in the scene. He only realized the truth several years later, when he was shown a heavily edited version of the film. He did not see the uncut version of the film until he was seventeen, eleven years after he had made it. The idea for Lloyd to move his finger when he was talking as Tony was his own. He did it spontaneously during his very first audition. Lloyd grew up to be a professor of biology at a community college in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Barry, I do thank you for realizing I AM more clued in. I just had a chance meeting with two black ladies at the Cheddar’s in Lufkin. One of the ladies owns a buy-resell business that has government support and is able to buy in many markets at a discount, because the business is minority owned. They have customers who are bidding on projects and winning bids in multiple markets because they are able to get preferential treatment due to their minority status. Now for the next reveal….this lady who owns the business said she used to HATE Trump until she began to understand how business works. She said under Trump the minority businesses actually got more beneficial treatment and since Biden has been in power her business’s profits have reduced drastically. She then said something that also made sense. She said folks who make $50K per year don’t understand what folks like her who make multimillion per year have to deal with, they also don’t know how business works. It was a positive meeting that gave me hope. She said many black folks simply aren’t aware of what’s at stake for high earners and businesses who provide jobs to the common man. She is a diehard Trump supporter who previously hated Trump with a passion. She hated Trump for his brashness and arrogance and I despise those things about him too, while also understanding his policies were wonderful for our country, for everyone in our country and so did she. This was a 42 year old black lady from Houston who is moving her business from Houston to Lufkin, who has fully taken advantage of being black and I tip my hat to her. Only in America!

Trace Carter was pretty good at running the option. Harkrider never lost a game as a starting Qb. Kubiak is a pretty good option Qb coach.
