Not bad for the smallest 3-A school in the state of Texas. Yes, we are losing 10 of the 12 players on this team. We have had a competitive JV team that held their own this year, comprised of mostly 9th and 10th graders. Will we be back in Round Rock next year,? But win or lose, the boys will compete, and be playing for the DEFENDING STATE CHAMPION BECKVILLE BEARCATS

I blame the 7 on 7 leagues. I'd much rather go and compete with another school in 1 on 1 drills instead of 7 on 7. So many teams look at a play in a notebook prior to running the play, and it's mostly routes crossing all over the place with picks on DBs and LBs. Totally an offensive minded game because defense isn't allowed to touch receivers. The first couple of years at the state tournament in College Station, my guys would get called for hand checks at the line of scrimmage. Texas high school football is taking away the "football" in the game.

Everyone has their own opinion but lets be real johnny football and company would have walked through the big 12 to the national championship game and played bama.... Who they not only beat but beat bama in their house.... Imo if Texas A&M stayed in the big 12 they win the national championship that year.... Take off the burnt orange glasses so you can see the truth... I have always said that if colt doesn't come out against bama in the national championship game they win that game because it is obvious that texas was the better team with colt just like if the aggies would have stayed in the big 12 one more season its the obvious choice

Rhule will be ok in Baylor if he sticks with it 2 more years... the guy won one game last year and still scored a top 25 recruiting class... while GQ scored the worst class in all of Power 5 schools

Since the aggies have been in the sec the horns have struggled more in the big 12.... If the aggies would have stayed in the big 12 one more year they would have prolly won the national championship imo no one would have touched them in the big 12... They destroyed oklahoma that year and beat bama who they would have met in the championship game

Beckville Bearcats Varsity racked up ten hits in the game. Michael Mise, Ty Jones, and Ben Bridges all had multiple hits for Beckville Bearcats Varsity. In the bottom of the seventh inning, time running out and their backs against the wall. Ben Bridges doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run tieing things up at four sending the game into extra innings. Zeck Collins singled in the bottom of the tenth to drive the winning run in.

Any time your QB and skill guys are throwing and running routes it’s a good thing. When your competing against other schools, it keeps the competitive edge going. It also keeps kids in shape and gets them used to the heat their going to face in August. 7 on 7 is a positive thing for kids Any way you look at it.

I remember all the "Whitehouse dynasty" talks back in 06, 07, etc from those Wildcat fans. They claimed they were going to be the boss of East Texas. Ten years later.... still waiting on that dynasty. Exactly!!!! I don't care how many of your fans come to the game, if you are the lower seed then its your fault your fans don't have room. I want to play at home and stay in my routine. My stadium should not have to satisfy anyone else.

Only having 5 teams in a district is just as ridiculous. Having more than 50% of your district make the playoffs is stupid. Unless you are in an eight team district, it is easier to make the playoffs than it miss it.

Sure... it may be watered down. But most of those 4th place teams will be gone after the first week of the playoffs. So one week is watered down. That’s it. One week out of 16. And if a 4th place team gets the upset (and it happens) then they deserve to play another week. And I agree with Lobo... are we really complaining about more football? The season is excruciatingly short for those that love the game. It’s an extra week of football. It’s like complaining about more steak. Or more lasangna. Or more ice cream. I don’t get it. Enjoy!

Who cares if the stadium is nice? They're trying to win a playoff game to advance. It's part of the experience/home field advantage you're trying to capture.

If you don’t want to play at one of those stadiums, don’t finish fourth.......neutral site an option ONLY if the district champions want to go to one.....fourth place team should have no say in the matter whatsoever.......

Congrats Bulldogs on a awesome season. Nothing to be ashamed of. Lot of teams would've loved to have had the opportunity y'all's team has been blessed with. Again congrats!!

Just think how many more state championships every school would have won if the coaches had just done what the fans in the stands thought they should. Can think of three more titles for Marshall. 88, 89, and 2004. Longview would need a whole new trophy room.

For those that haven't been watching this game and listening to these announcers, TT has the most amazing offense ever with about a gazillion home runs. Not sure why we are even playing the game.

If he got even half way honest news coverage, no telling how high his approval rating would be.
