At the end of the day, everyone's here because they love the hell outta HS football and especially your home based team... Seems like a few peeps here be getting their feathers all ruffled up when they read or see something they don't agree with but hey... that's what hardcore football fans is all about... I'm rooting for Tascosa all day and Texas Tech all day and Dallas Cowboys all day!!!! When someone here joked that the Rebels mascot looks like Pancho Villa dude.. I laughed and rolled with it... who cares.. it's smack talk for the smack mouth football were about to see this Saturday. I can't wait... SO EXCITED!!!!

Me personally, I'm not offended by signs. Just apart of the experience...every single team we played this year made signs of some sort and we probably made some ourselves. As for us "being best on the planet" or underestimating y'all...we literally hear this from opposite fan bases every single week. When will you all understand that we aren't underestimating anyone...and we certainly don't think we're best in the world. But maybe, just maybe we are damn good football team on a mission? Cove folks didn't understand it. Prosper folks didn't understand it. Vandegrift folks didn't understand it. Westfield folks didn't understand it. Maybe you guys will...although so far its looking like you all aren't getting it either.

Pomeranz to Texas makes sense, but will it happen? Lynn is a nice pick up for Texas Texas needs 2 more guys to help fill out the rotation. Might see them do the Rays method and go with the opener every 5th day. At the very least you could possibly flip these guys for something at the deadline.

Listened to the show. Good show but one thing you got wrong. Yes the Malakoff Tigers have been in this situation before. Just two years ago we won Region 3 and were one win from the title game. Came up 4 points shy. There are 5 players on the team who played that night and others who were suited up on the sideline. They are leading the team this week on reminding our players of that feeling. So that one part you mentioned was not correct

I’m sure our coaching staff will have another great game plan this week for another great team. Nobody has believed in us this year but us. Jefferson, Gladewater and Atlanta were no joke. Our defense is good and they have been playing on another level these last 3 weeks. We got another big weapon back last week that is a huge threat anytime he touches the ball. If we keep the intensity level up we will be hard to beat. I know how good Brock is but does Brock know how good we are?

THis is going to be a fun one to watch. That other game, I will go ahead and chalk LaVega in. No idea how Decatur has lasted this far. Have they had an easy path? Kind of... They've caught some breaks... the QB for Hirschi was out both times they beat them this year. A HUGE difference maker. Not saying it mattered completely in the outcome, but it helped. That Hereford district wasn't exactly a juggernaut... That Decatur team is here via Coaching only. Carthage comes through in tight situations... we've seen it so many times this year... That heart attack a week ago... I think if LH can get a lead, they better make it more than 8 points and keep it more than 8... Taking Carthage in a close win in which Carthage gets and holds onto a lead.

Tenaha made a change and moved up a division. They’re currently 9-3 and still playing, so I’d call their move a win. Also, Shelbyville improves from 2-8 to 5-6 and finished 2nd in their district in Coach Benbow’s first year, so that’s a win for them.

Doomer you need to quit testing them squeezins so much. People care as much about the WNBA as they do Major League Soccer. They're lucky to even have teams. They also need to quit whining about their pay and conditions they are playing under. I saw the Las Vegas team forfeited a game, because it took so long to get to where ever they were playing. Cry me a river, all major league teams had travelling issues when they first started up riding trains or busses overnight for games the next day. I've hated having a motel by a train track or an airport, because it's tough to sleep, and I can't even imagine riding by train from 1870's-1960's, some loved it but most hated it. They had layovers that they could sleep at for hours. They're attendance is low, and the viewership is even lower with only 171,000 viewers for the 2017 season on ESPN. I doubt that they last 8 more years if that, unless the NBA keeps supporting them.
