IF is a mighty big word. If anyone believes for a second that a gay, black liberal activist actor is gonna get treated with anything less than kid gloves in a liberal stronghold like Chicago, I would really like them to consider buying this nice little ocean front cabin I’ve got in Nebraska. This will get pleaded down to some sort of misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge, and he will pay $25-30 thousand fine and spend a couple of Saturdays doing some BS community service. Write it down, and be sure to include that ol Trueblue called it.3 points

Biggest splash hire in Nac program history??? You can not argue with the resume for sure. He has been successful everywhere he has been. I want to first say, I am not discounting the other two candidates I am sure they would have been good coaches. However, I don’t think you can pass up his previous experience. I have still not seen or heard where he said he wasn’t going to move his family or what his family situation is. My initial thought is that we may get out played, out athleted but I don’t think we are gonna get outcoached. He has coached and won some really big games. I am curious to see how he gets player and community buy in, he seems to demand discipline from his players and coaches and Nac isn’t exactly known for maintaining its composure. I think this is a home run hire and he inherits a very young and talented team.2 points

Defense actually has a chance to be better this year. I think Robert Pierce #48 is in for a fantastic SR year. Was one of the best DB's in 6A last year. Tyshawn Taylor at LB is a problem and could've easily been defensive MVP in that state game. Laqualon Hale next to him at the other LB spot is no joke...Beltran and Goram-Welch anchoring the defensive line....Buchanan and his long and physical 6'1 180 frame will return at CB. But the one who I think will "come out of nowhere" is 2021 #3 SS/LB Kybo Jackson-Jamerson (6'2 190). He played alot in 2018 as a sophomore. Not just in blowout games either, he was apart of the rotation/gameplan most weeks. Former WR and PR too so don't underestimate his speed and athleticism either.2 points

I don't see how anyone could sell themselves to a community or their team if their kids don't attend the school....damages the credibility instantly and it would burn my rear end if my kids went to school in Nac but the coaches and administrators don't believe in the school enough to send their kids there....actions speak louder than words2 points

Scary thing is he's not alone. Shannon Jackson II, Kevin Jones, Markevion Haynes...this backfield is going to be fun to watch.2 points

Whoever Nac hires needs to be bought in...can't have admin and coaches working in the district but none of their kids go to school there...tough to sell that to the community IMO.....2 points

Hey guys it's with a sad heart that I must let y'all know old jj is moving to Virginia. Wanted to say bye to a lot of you that I look forward to visiting with every year. Ill be living in Virginia now permanent where my kids will attend Poquoson VA high. A great school who not to long ago brought home some championships. I do still have a lot of family in the Arp and Troup area so I'll be flying back to Texas for some games and occasions. I don't intend to stop my Smoaky presence at all ill be in touch here regularly. With that said. And on a jj note. I've already got my reservation made to be at Jerry world to watch Arp win state good luck to all and good luck this season.1 point

Yea, me either. Not even once. When I retire, I'm gonna smoke a big ole doobie...it'lll probably be legal in Texas by then. If not, I'll go to Colorado. Just to see what all the fuss is about.1 point

Maybe it depends on who’s on the field. The three in a row DF had was an awful lot of wins with a gimmick.1 point

He's such a dummy!!! Just like all the other players that wasted their careers because of weed. I just dont understand and dont think I ever will.1 point

He's done now. I thought he was progressing. No contract for him, he blew it just as Josh Gordon did. That's sad.1 point

they also added a "walk on" with justice hill who is an early enrollee. he wasn't highly recruited for football because he committed to the Arkansas basketball team as like a freshman in high school. he is an athlete and Morris isn't sure where he'll play him.1 point

This is going to be a HUGE campaign issue in 2020 and beyond ... the murderous dims are on the wrong side of this issue for sure .... Their phony mantra about doing everything for the "children" falls flat from now on ...1 point

If you run the stack the right way, it is far from garbage or gimmicky. Some guys try to do too much with it and it loses effectiveness. I'm a fan of it, but you have to make the right adjustments. It puts you in Cover 3 and a vertical passing team will wear out the free safety. Offenses can take you right out of it and force you into something else if they really want to. End up having to play a lot of 3-2 or 4-2 to go to a two-high look.1 point

K-State's offense was horrible when Snyder was in control. For example, he made all of the decisions that first half of the Texas game when the Horns were up 19-0. Snyder then handed over the chains to his offensive staff during the second half and they gave Texas fits. Lemme tell you something about Bill Snyder... the college football community loved him, but the people that really knew him (i.e. his players/assistant coaches minus his son) weren't his biggest fans. And I know this for a fact.1 point

Been talking about this for a few years now....Friday night lights will become Thursday or Saturday night lights in a lot of small towns very soon due to officiating shortages...only the big schools will play on Fridays1 point

And we have the g.o.a.t. throwing to him and the other wrs man this offense sounds scary again1 point

I don't care where he lines up, just get him the ball in space. Kid can take a routine dive play to the house, get him one-on-one in the secondary and it's an automatic six points.1 point

Hot name, I don't think it would work for Silver, different mentality in owners when you compare the 2 leagues. NBA is way better in that aspect.1 point

Maybe ABC will want him on "The View" after he gets out of prison. He should fit right in with the other girls.1 point
