  2. Well we are 1 game away from the bracket being set in stone. Here’s a rundown of where all of the districts stand. District 9 Current Standings 1 Centerville (4-0) 2 Normangee (3-1) 3 Leon (3-1) 4 Cayuga (1-3) 5 Kerens (1-3) 6 Cross Roads (0-4) Week 11 Centerville vs Leon; Kerens vs Normangee; Cayuga vs Cross Roads Locks: Centerville, Normangee and Leon are IN Elimimated None Centerville clinches 1 seed with win; Leon clinches 1 seed with win and Normangee loss; A Leon win and a Normangee win send the 1 seed tie breaker to points; Cayuga clinches 4 seed with win; Kerens must win and have Cayuga lose to get 4 seed; if Kerens and Cayuga both lose, there is a 3 way tie for 4th with those 2 and cross roads; Centerville has head to head over Normangee Normangee has head to head over Leon Cayuga has head to head over Kerens District 10 Current Standings 1 Alto (4-0) 2 Carlisle (3-1) 3 Hawkins (3-1) 4 Big Sandy (1-3) 5 Union Grove (1-3) 6 Cushing (0-4) Locks: Alto is in as 1 seed, Carlisle and Hawkins are IN Eliminated: None Week 11 Alto vs Union Grove; Carlisle vs Hawkins, Cushing vs Big Sandy Hawkins and Carlisle are playing for the 2 seed; loser is 3 seed; Big Sandy clinches 4 seed with win over Cushing; union Grove must win and have Cushing win to clinch 4 seed; a Cushing win and Union Grove loss makes a 3 way tie between those 2 and Big Sandy; District 11 Current Standings 1 Joaquin (5-0) 2 Harleton (4-1) 3 Garrison (3-3) 4 Timpson (2-3) 5 Linden-Kildare (2-3) 6 Beckville (1-4) 7 Tenaha (1-4) Locks: Joaquin, Harleton and Garrison are IN Eliminated: Tenaha Week 11 Joaquin vs Harleton; Timpson vs Beckville; Tenaha vs Linden-Kildare; Garrison BYE Joaquin and Harleton will determine 1 & 2 seed; Timpson is in and clinches 3 seed with a win; A Timpson win (no matter other results) eliminates everyone else and Garrison is the 4 seed; A Timpson loss opens up a Pandora’s box of possibilities...Garrison would be the 3 seed; LK could claim the 4 seed with a win; A Tenaha win in this scenario would create a 4 way tie for 4th between Timpson, Beckville, LK and Tenaha...Tenaha and Beckville would be 2-1 against the others, LK & Timpson would be 1-2. Beckville would then have the head to head on Tenaha and thus claim the 4 seed District 12 Current Standings 1 San Augustine (4-0) 2 Groveton (3-1) 3 Shelbyville (3-1) 4 Deweyville (1-3) 5 West Sabine (1-3) 6 Hull-Daisetta (0-4) Locks: SA, Groveton and Shelbyville are IN Eliminated: Hull-Daisetta Week 11: SA vs Shelbyville, Groveton vs HD; West Sabine vs Deweyville SA clinches 1 seed with win; Shelbyville clinches 1 seed with win and Groveton loss; Groveton clinches 2 seed with win and SA win; 3 way tie going down to points occurs with Shelbyville and Groveton wins; West Sabine and Deweyville winner is the 4 seed; Predicted Playoff Bracket (W9) Centerville vs (F10) Big Sandy (R12) Groveton vs (T11) Timpson (W10) Alto vs (F9) Cayuga (R11) Harleton vs (T12) Shelbyville (W11) Joaquin vs (F12) Deweyville (R10) Carlisle vs (T9) Leon (W12) San Augustine vs (F11) Garrison (R9) Normangee vs (T10) Hawkins

  4. In round one? Temple. It’d take a pure miracle for it not to be the Wildcats.

  6. Pencil Neck is one of the most dishonest people in Congress .... he's a chronic liar and needs to be held accountable for his treasonous actions .... he will soon be exposed and called on his lies .....

  7. Henderson will need to clean some things up if you have any hopes of making it back to the Regional Finals to lose to the Dawgs for a 6th time in three years. Van is plenty capable of beating the Lions Fri. Henderson has the athletes but Van is like the Iowa or Minnesota of D10. Sound disciplined football.

  10. You're soo right. It's all over, baby blue. Drumpf is doomed. Pence too. Hell, the entire administration is coming down, sometime next week no doubt. Probably gonna reverse the entire election and appoint Hillary as Supreme Chancellor. Everything is happening exactly as you have foreseen. It must be awful, the burden of genius that you carry. Glad you're here to share your brilliance with us.

  11. The last time the Joaquin Rams celebrated a district championship, they did it at Harleton’s Wildcat Stadium after capping off a 10-0 season with a win over the Wildcats in 2012. The Rams have an opportunity to repeat history Friday night when they travel north to take on the ‘Cats. Harleton lost their district opener, a head scratching 28-21 defeat by Linden-Kildare, but they have ground out four straight victories since, putting them in position to go from 1-9 and getting blown out every week to winning what some experts called the “toughest district in AA.” That title has yet to be earned, but you have to give the new Harleton coaching staff their due as the turnaround of the year. The switch to the wing-T looks to be just what the doctor ordered for the Wildcats. The Rams will attack with their slot-T offense, so this game should move very quickly. The winner of this game will square off with the winner of West Sabine and Deweyville, who will be the #4 seed out of District 12. The loser will slide to the #2 seed and will face District 12’s #3, Shelbyville. Who takes home the trophy and why?

  13. The West Rusk Raiders slipped by the Winnsboro Red Raiders in a must win game for WR..West Rusk is open this week. Gladewater (4-1) and Sabine (4-1) have a lock on the top two playoff spots...if Tatum (2-3) can upset Gladewater and Winnsboro can knock off Mineola (3-2) that would set up a four-way tie for the other two spots. It appears that West Rusk (3-3) needs Winnsboro and Tatum to lose to lock in a playoff spot and would be the third place team virtue their win over Mineola. Below ~ RB Gavin Smith scores the winning TD for the Raiders Friday night against Winnsboro, 37-33

  16. I would rest my starters. Remember what happened to OB last year and we got put out in 1sr round. It would be the smart thing to do.

  17. Sounds like it. Last years qb for the Lions was like that. Hopefully they get it together . No secret you can out athlete your way toward the playoffs . A strong Defensive coordinator will adjust and play to your weaknesses.

  18. Medford is a good talent at QB but we don’t have the weapons at WR. He has had fumbleitus all year. He holds the ball out wide and starts spinning and jumping and looses the ball way too much. Carthage still would have beat Henderson but it found have been a lot closer without fumbles. It would be great if we had a good QB and he could be WR

  19. I think everyone overrated the talent that Jimbo was leaving at Florida State. The QB injury during his last season really blinded people to overall talent drop of the program compared to where he had it from 2010-2014.

  22. Harleton is one of those teams that makes opponents feel like they beat themselves. Not saying that’s what happened to Garrison, but I’ve seen fans from other teams echo your sentiments. “They’re not that good; we didn’t play well; should have beat them by 3 TDs; blah blah blah.” But here they are, 7-2 playing for a district championship. Our coaches and players have to take them seriously, or we’re gonna be saying those same things Saturday morning while looking at our 4th consecutive runner-up finish.

  27. I’m ok with Mally staying at number 2. It’s just a little more reason to keep fighting. Not gonna lie Region 3 is just a gauntlet yet again this year. So many strong teams playing with a chip on their shoulder.

  31. Quick? No such thing ... believe it got more complicated with the cap ... eyes crossed at this point, but here goes ... think it's right. Basics: Four WILL get you in … Three CAN get you in depending on points or head-to-head Who is in? GLADEWATER – IN SABINE – IN Seeds to be decided … if both win GW is #1 and Sabine #2 based on head-to-head Otherwise, see * below AS PER RELAYED, DISTRICT HAS 17 POINT CAP If Mineola wins and Tatum wins: Mineola finishes with four wins and is IN * > Seed? If Sabine wins (which is a virtual given), then Minny would enter #2 due to head-to-head win over GW #3 … If Sabine loses also, there would be a three-way tie; in that case, GW #1 (+14), Sabine #2 (0), and Minny #3 (-14) Tatum finishes 3-3 tied with WR and would be IN because of head-to-head win vs WR and WR would stay home Winny at 2-4 is OUT If Mineola wins and Tatum loses: Mineola finishes with four wins and is IN as #3 seed West Rusk finishes with three wins and is IN as #4 seed Tatum and Winny are OUT at 2-4 If Mineola loses and Tatum wins: Mineola, Tatum, Winnsboro, and WR all four finish at 3-3 and enters the battle of points At that point, Tatum would be sitting at a -29 (-17/-17/+5) and really no chance to make up that ground limited by the 17 point cap. West Rusk would be left sitting at a +5 (+5/-5/+4) and would require Winny to top Minny by at least +7 to enter the playoffs which would end WR & M in a tie at +5, with WR going due to head-to-head. Anything less would still place Mineola with more positive points than WR's +5 Right now, with Mineola sitting at +12 (-5/+17) and Winnsboro sitting at +13 (+17/-4): > a Winnsboro win of +1 to +6 would put Winny in the #3 seed (at +14 to +20) and Minny in the #4 spot (with at worst a +6 rating) , with WR ending at a +5 and staying home. > a Winnsboro win of +7 or more puts Winny in the #3 seed and WR in at #4 (at 7 would end up with WR and Minny both being at +5 with WR IN and Minny out due to head-to-head) If Mineola loses and Tatum loses: Tatum finishes at 2-4 and is OUT Mineola, Winnsboro, and WR all finish 3-3 and enters the battle of points In this case with Tatum out of the mix, WR would be sitting at a +9 (+5 vs Minny and +4 vs Winny). > With Minny and Winny both sitting at a negative differentials, any Winny win would eliminate Mineola from entering the playoffs > A Winny win of 1-13 points would put Winnsboro in at #4 and WR at #3 > A Winny win of 14-17 points puts Winnsboro is at #3 and WR in at #4 Not satisfied ... see chart below ... if you have a free hour or so, be my guest.

  36. President Trump is doing exactly what he should be doing in the face of nothing more than harassment of his presidency .... This latest farce is looking like just like the phony Russian collusion hoax ... a phony investigation in search of a crime ... that's not the way it's suppose to work .... President Trump has committed no crime, unlike Slick Willie and Nixon .... before this is over, Little Adam Schitt could be in a lot of trouble himself .... he is up to his eyeballs in bed with the phony whistle blower, Brennan and Clapper and other bad actors .... Don't worry though, before AG Barr, the IG and Special Prosecutor Durham are done .... several of your hoaxers could be frog marched away in handcuffs ...

  37. Retired. I heard he may be looking at doing something at the county for the youth. Like a counselor or maybe a probation officer type deal. Idk for sure though. I don’t believe he’s doing anything right now. He goes to all the games and sits in the visitors section.

  38. Yeah there’s a couple that do that every game even at home. Ones typically Coach Boyett, Coach Billy Bob Terry, and Blankenship. Blank’s son is our DT coach. Blank spoke to the players this past week at their dinner. He is a good Motivator.
