Is there even dislike? I dislike armadillo tabasco and Doughknot WestButt way more, and I don't hate them. We just played them 2 years ago so some familiarity.5 points

Quit being a homer for Ingram. The running game sucked! Trying to run the ball led basically to punting.3 points

Kids ain’t over confident and coaches ain’t over confident but I am....but ain’t no round balls in altos future for at least another couple weeks....I know Joaquin overly enjoyed getting them last 2 Ws against alto, Hope y’all got the memory stored in a safe place cause it ain’t happening again this week!3 points

I don't know about Blue Ridge, but I grew up in Denton and our Jr. High unies were certainly hand me downs from North Texas. Can you imagine a bunch of scrawny kids wearing grown men's stuff. The first helmet I got would turn sideways on my head. I got hit head on in the ear hole and coach got me another one. Mr. Travis Duncan my Jr. High coach. Pretty fine guy.3 points

Hey, I absolutely love the thigh. It's one of my favorite parts of the booty.3 points

Temple showed last night how to beat the Lobo defense: have a legit Division I recruit wideout who's about 6'5" and throw 50-50 balls to him and hope he makes great plays. No RB is gonna to beat this defense by himself. I don't care who his daddy is.3 points

I was definitely too high on D7, model of inconsistency during regular season and it showed big time in the playoffs too. Will be cheering on Jefferson and D8 the rest of the way to rep east Texas! Hats off to D8.2 points

Again, lack of coaching the little things. Who cares if they make the FG? There would have been 2 minutes left.2 points

Westfield would definitely be a big challenge for us, but as you said, until we get knocked off...I’m taking our boys.2 points

Lol make one. Won’t change the fact that we’re the best East Texas program on the top two levels. Or that we’ve beaten you down 83-13 the last two seasons. Or that we’re about to break the longest winning streak by a 5A or 6A team in East Texas, or that you’ve just gone 3-8 in freakin 5A.2 points

Honestly, I could care less about the Raccoons winning as long as the Knights lose.2 points

Yes I was completely wrong. I knew Heights was in trouble but I figured Shoemaker had a shot. This Lufkin lose is what is tough this morning. It's time for a change. 1st and goal from the 5 and you can't punch it in. The kids deserve better. Lufkin deserves better.2 points

Guess it could sometimes be a paranoid coach worried about signals getting stolen/picked up by opposing team(s).2 points

I KNOW THAT GUY....GREAT KID!!!! Not sure about the coaches moving. They are used to noise. Maybe they sensed you were listening to them and thought it better to move out of ear shot so as to keep you from sharing their top secret discussion and game plans? Maybe they were upset no one offered them a cowbell! My question is: Are the cowbells louder than the band?2 points

So, even with a broke hand last night, EJ Smith played and tallied three touchdowns. Longview played Smith two years ago in his sophomore season at Kincaide. Though, they don't. have a QB to match what Parker Towns did against us. We'll see, but I think it'll be a lot like what we've seen the last couple weeks. They have absolutely zero speed compared to us.2 points

That coach at Mt. Vernon...…….forget his name...…….Came from nowhere, into a hostile environment, and lead his team to the playoffs.2 points

I would nominate Coach Finney from Winnsboro. Took a team that was not even close to the playoffs last year and made it in a tough district and then won a big playoff game last night!2 points

Let's get real for a min, this isn't about Alto's offense here,it's about their defense.joes fixing to see the best defense they've seen all year and you're running a basic offense, focusing on your keys will be paramount, for success.mistakes against these boys turns to quicksand.joaquin has a tall hill to climb...good luck my friends...2 points

Boy, I guess THS should apologize for messing up everyone’s party last night. Was I surprised? Yes. Did I think the Tigers would get donkey stomped? No. For the JT fans, at the end of district I firmly believe the Tigers were the 3rd best team and JT was the 5th or 6th best team (with Sherman 4th). We entered the season without a quarterback. The coaches convinced Cellers (a pitcher) to convert from wide receiver. When he was not eligible, his legs and Webster (wr) were taken out out the game plan. Opposing teams only had to stop Cooper. The last 4 games the team has progressed each week and it seems the young men have developed confidence. Congrats to the Tiger players and coaches on a game well played. You deserve the respect.2 points

Trash...LOL....Now look who in their feelings. I didn't even say anything bad about LP, so I don't why you coming at with me. You need to be mad at yourself and Karma for all that smack you talked this yr. However, there is no reason for you to be too upset, because the team you really cheer for is still in the playoffs...lol2 points

I guess it’s all how you look at it. What I meant is that when you lose to a team, you DON’T overlook or “sleep” on them.....from a program standpoint. So in a sense part of it IS about remembering. It won’t really mean “remembering or payback” to the coaches because they are all new OR even the players who were underclassmen and mainly on the JV. It’s “the folks” who remember. It stung and it stunk and it was part of the catalyst for change. I agree with you that it will be about execution and limiting mistakes and sticking to the game plan and playing our hearts out. For some it will just be another game on our journey through the playoffs to the ultimate goal. For others it will be more personal. “Revenge” is such an ugly word. Perhaps “avenge” is better. Not really malice, but more washing the bad taste of defeat to a team we had not lost to in 13 consecutive games out of our mouth. Whichever way a person chooses to look at it one thing’s for sure: it ought to be a heck of a game! Win or lose, I know each team will give it all they got and leave it on the field. I firmly believe at the end of the day that will be our Jackets. This group is special and built just a little different.2 points
