And the mudhole they call the Riverwalk? I did run my marathon there. It was cool- it started at the Alamo, ran outside of the loop, and then back... Started with this big cannon shot and gun volley and everything. Thankfully Alec Baldwin wasn't one of the ones firing blanks.4 points

Sumlin will probably never be a HC in a power-5 conference again unless some poor team is desperate. The Arizona debacle was the final straw in my opinion.3 points

It’s their last game of the year because for some reason shepherd doesn’t have sub-varsity teams at the 4A level. Plus he’s B team so they didn’t get to play Jasper. Had 2 home games all season. So we’ll drive 2.5 hours to watch a 30 minute game and drive 2.5 hours back!!!2 points

Politics, schools, football, etc sucks. If you go there for vacation trips or something at the conference center, its the most wonderful thing in the world... until you walk a few blocks and realize that SA literally lets thousands of homeless people sleep right on the main commerce and tourist streets. It's a liberal cesspool of the worst kind. It's California... They disguise it with Disneyland and Hollywood, but when you look into it, its literally Chicago.2 points

There is 1 perfect fit for this job... Urban Meyer. He probably won't go this year, but he would be the ideal fit for USC. To work in a city that cares nothing about morals, and a school that only wants to win that they would probably do anything... I mean cupid.com gives this relationship a 100% chance of succeeding.2 points

Sumlin has serious personal issues that will probably need 12 steps to help him recover. It will take a desperate program willing to take a chance on him. I don’t see that happening any time soon.2 points

Back in the late early 70’s, and the Wishbone & option football were king, Vidor was in a playoff game in the Dome against Aldine. They ran the option to their left. Vidor’s corner came up just as the QB pitched. He caught it in full stride and ran 89 yards for a TD. Unfortunately it was the Pirates only TD while Aldine scored buku TD’s. Still, quite a thrill for that young man. Aldine had the best LB I’ve ever seen in HS football, Larry Twardowski. No one could block him. I think he was 220, which back in those days was huge. Got a scholarship to Texas & knee tore up in practice. Never heard anymore about him. Typical old age memory. Remember something like that & have no idea what happened yesterday.2 points

I made a similar play in a junior high game back in the 60s ... not as spectacular as this though .... I was playing corner back and blitzed from the outside and picked off a quick pitch to a running back in motion coming to my side ... the QB just pitched it right to me ... and I was off to the races for a long td ....1 point

You need to worry about Celina. WOS runs the ball 80 percent of the time. Now tell me again who has or will run the ball on The Dawg D. Gilmer was minus 17 yards at the start of the third quarter. Had I believe 22 total yards running the ball against the Dawgs.1 point
