Austin is an absolute train wreck of a city. Thanks to being overtaken by communists, violent crime is skyrocketing. If the UIL wants to use some of the $$ they rob from schools every year to build a multi-sport complex to host events, great. But there’s at least ten cities in Texas better suited to hosting it than Austin.9 points

The libnuts in Austin don't need anything from REAL AMERICANS.....keep it at Jerry World......6 points

I want to wish everyone and their families a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe one if you have to travel. I am very blessed and thankful for great family and friends. Looking forward to a day of awesome food, football, and family gatherings!3 points

Gotta disagree with the “don’t ever play stiff competition”. WOS lines up year after year against Nederland, Newton and Jasper. Some years WOS has to go to the Houston area to get games. A couple of years ago Crosby was on the schedule so all of this “they don’t play anyone” is just ridiculous. WOS can’t do a thing about their district schedule. People tend to forget that WOS played in the finals 3 years straight recently and won 2 of those. Due to the success of the Carthage Bulldogs fans tend to think everyone else is just not very good. Take Carthage out of the mix and you can bet there are 4-5 different teams with titles. Belleville is extremely good and this will be an outstanding matchup. Good luck Stangs3 points

Playing games at Austin, California(it doesn't seem like Texas anymore)? Heck no, that city doesn't deserve anything to be there. Happy Thanksgiving and Go Dawgs!!3 points

They tried that about six years ago. NRG and the city of Houston fumbled the ball big time. I don’t remember anyone who attended, fans, players or coaches, not saying “We need it to go back to AT&T.”2 points

I get on here because we like to host playoff games, and I've been doing that on here since 2009. We do great things for kids and we want to keep doing great things for kids. Not advertising at all. But I'm just seeing the game move in another direction that I'm not too fond of. It is getting to the point that we don't see a football game on real grass anymore. But that is the direction that everyone is going, so we follow the leader. And we will continue to give everything we can to make sure kids are safe, are provided the best resources and make their fans and parents comfortable. Other than that, I really like how football use to be played...that's all.2 points

Wouldn't mind it being at NRG every other year or something like that....2 points

If they had a dome in Austin… I think it would be a conversation worth having. But they don’t. Sitting out in the elements for 3 games a day for 3-4 days in December doesn’t sound all that appealing.2 points

The fumble in the 1st quarter was absolutely a catch and fumble. The two holding calls against the center were both bs. One negated a 30 yard run. The roughing the passer against Parsons was bs. Carr fell into him as he was running forward. That should not be a penalty. There was a 1st down catch by the Raiders in 3rd and long, where Jones completely pushed Diggs about 4 yards down the field. No call. And many more.1 point

Yeah...that is just the way the rules are today. #30 did not look back for the ball and that will draw a flag every time. Defense does not have a chance these days.1 point

Well now that the other side of next week’s game is settled, let’s get this one on! This one will be a lot closer on the scoreboard. No doubt about that! Highly doubt there’s 78 points scored either. That was a track meet tonight.1 point

Same to you, C&C......and to everybody out there on Smoaky. We should feel blessed by God Almighty here in Texas for sure......this season has been practically Covid Rules void.......the way it should be and should have been last season. Natural Immunity is the best safeguard against corona viruses......proven as a fact thru science decades ago! My prayers are with all of the children in the USA today that are FORCED by those that continue to ignore the science to be jabbed by harmful synthetic concoctions that are having adverse effects and even causing deaths to a very large percentage of those that got jabbed. Yet those that didn't are quite healthy......proof in the pudding. Corona viruses are a type of flu that is rarely dangerous and deadly......natural immunity and keeping your body's immune system in an excellent state is the basis for prevention. Most people, and certainly the least of all children and young adults to age 40....were never in harm's way in the first place. Thanks to football, more people have had their eyes opened this year. GO EAGLES!!!1 point

Yet another reason to GIVE THANKS!!!!! In today’s Rasmussen Reports survey, likely voters picked Trump to beat Biden, 45% to 32% if the election were held today, a gap that is even higher among independents who have become the critical swing group. They chose Trump 47%-20%. 2024 blowout brewing: Trump crushing Biden with astonishing lead (wnd.com)1 point

It's only going to get worse with Biden. Winter is coming and as President Biden said "It's going to be a dark winter" not only financially but maybe Wuhan wise as well.1 point

I liked it back when they would choose random stadiums to play the championships in. I remember old Baylor Stadium and Waco ISD holding several. Traffic around AT&T is horrible.1 point

That's because he released it to be used by our country...not by our enemies...but then again Biden and his son have close ties with China so I guess they have an alegiance to them...guess Hunter has some more "art work" to sell!!! LOLOL!!!1 point

Just got this from my grandmother. She said it was the game ball given to my great grandfather when he was doing security for the teams in the 70’s. I assume it’s the game ball from the PNG vs Permian game. Idk who painted it, but still pretty neat IMO. I have seen pictures of him on the sidelines at games. Go Indians!1 point

Trump > biden. End of story. If you can’t see it you’re a moron1 point

I don’t think it’s a big advantage. They still have a long day of getting ready and getting to the stadium. They still have a bus ride. Their fans are hardly gonna outnumber the other team. They may not have a hotel stay, that’s probably the only difference. Didnt seem to help Celina or Kennedale when Carthage played em…1 point
