  1. Even breaking in a new line Beckville doesn't win this game. As far as Beckvilles new Quarterback I am sure he is a good player but he is on a new team and has never faced Timpson. I don't think a one score difference will happen in this game. But I do respect your opinion and agree it will be a hard fought game and a treat for spectators. The last 4 games between Beckville and Timpson haven't even been close except for the first half of last year's game at SFA. To be the Man you have to beat the Man. When Beckville actually beats Timpson I will be the first one to congratulate Beckvilles team and fans. Good luck Beckville on the new season coming up and I hope all the players stay healthy. I am sure Beckville and Timpson will meet again in the playoffs.

  2. I don't know what school you work in, but I can tell you, 85% of the students throw away over 50% of the lunch food they are given. They never eat the fruit, we have a lady that collects the fruit each day in a milk crate and takes it to the women's shelter in my district. School lunches stink now, they stunk in the 70s when I was in school, and they probably stunk when @Hagar and @RETIREDFAN1 were in school also.

  3. Glad Longview GameDay was able to capture this. The look on freshmen players when they finally get that locker. https://www.facebook.com/100066923313333/posts/pfbid0HeJDQtzBzqcXg1t8QymwJzu1fw7UyWTrB1maM8AdEXcxQ8Xvv5EVrb6DgZRrr4WRl/?app=fbl

  5. Final account of USA military equipment and cash left behind in Afghanistan. Thanks to the Government Accountability Office, we now have a clear picture of just how much U.S. military equipment has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, thanks to Joe Biden's bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan. Let's have a look... Aircraft: The Taliban now ranks #26 in the world in total military aircraft, thanks to us leaving behind 208 planes and helicopters: 110 helicopters 60 transport/cargo planes 20 light attack planes 18 intelligence/surveillance planes Vehicles: You've probably seen the footage of the Taliban riding around in our Humvees. We left a total of 75,898 vehicles: 42,604 tactical vehicles 22,174 Humvees 8,998 medium tactical vehicles 1,005 recovery vehicles 928 mine-resistant vehicles 189 armored tanks Weapons: Get ready for this... 599,690 of our weapons are now in the hands of the Taliban: 358,530 rifles 126,295 pistols 64,363 machine guns 25,327 grenade launchers 12,692 shotguns 9,877 RPGs 2,606 howitzers And you can throw a couple thousand night-vision goggles, surveillance drones, and communication devices on that list as well. Price tag: In total, it adds up to nearly $84 billion dollars in tax-payer-funded U.S. military equipment. Source: GAO analysis of Department of Defense data. Joe Biden just funded an army of terrorists in Afghanistan.

  6. To me it’s more about the people dancing on our grave in November who acted like Riley created Oklahoma Football. This is the first time we will have at least 5 top 300 guys on defensive in the same class since the mid 2000s.

  7. Lol, and this is why I don't get into recruiting. I don't want to care about any of these guys until they're in the dorms and on the roster.

  9. I think we all are wondering that. I also remember asking the same question after Moseley and various other stand out players graduated so I'll go with my wife's wisdom (who knows very little about football). She say's to not worry, they always seem to pull a rabbit out of the hat lol! Who knows? I think we may look a little different but still be just fine. The freshman team looked pretty good last season.

  11. All of those things make sense. Waskom had perhaps one of the most football friendly superintendents in the whole state when keeling came in. Great man and a huge football fan. He retired. Change was inevitable.

  12. My kids were in class through the MOO-shell school lunch program…they were lucky that we could afford to make them lunches to take…the kids that couldn’t afford to make their own lunches STARVED….a high school athlete doing football or volleyball or any sport is burning 1000’s of calories a day….and for some kids the school lunches were the ONLY opportunity to get a meal for the day…I believe the breakfast meal provide was limited to 600 calories and the lunch was limited to 800….somewhere around those numbers…football players will burn up 4000-6000 calories a day When my kids were in school I worked the concession stand for volleyball and basketball games…it got to where at the end of the night I would give away the hotdogs and nachos that were leftover to the kids and put the money in the register to cover the cost…those kids were being starved by your beloved ME-schell

  14. If they did leave that much it will be hard for those wack jobs to maintain, on the other hand with this administration they will probably send maintenance people over to help them and pay for it

  16. He’s definitely the prize of this class imo. A&M has recruited at an elite level at every defensive position besides linebacker. Anthony Hill is a piece that’s been missing from an already impressive acquisition of defensive talent.

  22. I'm just curious as to who cryed foul? Whom was so intimidated by the jackets that they would report this to uil? Was it an inside job from butthurt or external forces who were in fear of playing real football against quality? I personally would never believe that a storied and proud team such as alto would even consider such nefarious acts.hell the alto I know would play Lobo in Longview and maybe outnumber them with fans,if they were on the schedule,I know with heartfelt pride that the jacket band would put em on notice...lol...that band gets a stadium rocking,Personally I am looking forward to Carlisle, alto and tenaha being in same dist, last time we played tenaha they pulled the roof in on our heads, and alto always comes in swinging
