  1. That’s true! A couple of questions about this one: 1. Did the kid move into the district with his family? 2. Is NS an open district that allows transfers outside district lines? 3. As you stated did The Woodlands AD sign off? The kids X page has him catching a pass announcing he is enrolled at NS, hhhmmm This one will be interesting!

  2. So just for giggles. Let's just say the CowBoyz wins the Superbowl in 2025....…exactly 30 years from the last win in 1995. Would there be a better story for the ages?

  4. I had written them off long ago! Now I won't be mad, win OR lose. They fought back to send to OT. I can live with that!

  7. Simple question, Barry. Who decides? Because as I said earlier, there are those who believe if you WANT a firearm you're mentally unfit to have one. How do you know (hint: you don't) that those decisions won't be politicized? Can you answer what I ACTUALLY asked here without deflecting or dodging? Let's see if you can. Because I know you wouldn't allow that of your students. Would you?

  8. "came to US after Canada wouldn’t give free stuff" There ya go. "Free stuff" that we, as citizens, pay for.

  12. JMO but anyone who feels the San Marcos/North Shore situaitons are different should go back and watch both SEC hearings

  13. Agreed. This was what I was referring too. Obviously, this paper has extreme bias.

  14. Speaking on a coach getting caught recruiting and the consequences being different. Specifically off the top of my head GP North Shore and San Marcos. Now, of course I am not sure the logistics. Specifically, in how many kids were recruited and how many ended up going to the school. SM we have an idea of how many student athletes were recruited because they have been ruled ineligible until there senior year and is on paper. GP North Shore I haven't seen "how many athletes" he recruited from neighboring schools. This is an article that didn't really give many specifics on who he recruited. https://highschool.si.com/texas/2024/02/28/north-shore-football-coach-suspended-by-uil-for-texas-high-school-recruiting-violations#:~:text=Andrew Cameron%2C North Shore's now,a violation of UIL rules. So, when referring to the same exact offense, I mean as in "recruiting". Much like theft. I could steal a dollar and someone else could steal one million dollars. Same offense. But of course the consequence would be worse for the person who stole the million dollars. So the GPNS and the SM reference might not be the best reference on my part. But, it was the only one off the top of my head since both teams are big schools.

  15. Alto’s entire football program got punished for the actions of one or two people. The kids had nothing to do with the violation, just like North Shore. The UIL’s justification was, in my interpretation, if the violation was committed by one or two people, then why punish the kids. Yep, if I were Alto, I’d be raising some eyebrows cause they got hit much harder! IMHO!

  16. Love this show and Johnny is by far my favorite character. I'm worried about it's future though now that it's on netflix. They'll probably have him and Daniel falling in love with each other and getting married before it's all said and done cause that's just how they roll.

  17. I'm only halfway through season one (SO NO SPOILERS!) but it's pretty obvious this series is more interested in unpacking some nuance rather than just having a cardboard "good guy vs bad guy" cliché. It seems more focused on complicated, well-developed characters. And can I say that William Zabka is a helluva actor. I mean, for real. Dude is absolutely crushing this role as Johnny. I don't follow award shows, but it seems like his performance is worthy of recognition. It's easily as good (if not better) as anything I see from big budget studio movies.

  18. Republicans blame mental health, well, drugs for mental health on shootings, or video games or supossed lack of prayer in schools, everything but the easy access to killing weapons, then when something is actually put into motion to 'red flag' those who are unhinged, they start hiding behind the Constitution, which has to make think that they have come to just accept mass shootings as a part of our fabric. Sigh.

  19. First, that rumor about William has been going on for 5 years, so he didn't put it in the 'mainstream'. Second, joking definitely wasn't a good idea, two weeks later, when it is revealed she has cancer. Third, Colbert is only a target for Fox and you because he rips on Trump relentlessly. You can admit that.
