You are going to get a mid level minor talent or put him with a package along with a pitcher to trade for another player. It really doesn't matter. There is no place for him. He may yet be a starter somewhere in the future. I remember when we had JD Martinez and gave him over 2 years in the majors to prove himself. Finally traded him elsewhere. Sometimes a change of scenery IS the answer.

I agree with your assessment. We have been somewhat vulnerable through the air. We have improved but there are a lot of instances where the defense does allow WRs wide open behind them. A true passing team IMO could eat us alive if we cannot get pressure. Lovejoy is the clear favorite......but favorites fall almost every weekend in the playoffs. All you can do is play your best and get some breaks. Texas High has the talent to win IF we can play a complete game and keep it close early.

Just happy to be playing. Our district IMO will be much stronger next year. I know Texas High and Marshall are both very young. MP also, but their depth is a fatal flaw that just doesn’t go away

I think Lovejoy will score lots of points. IMO we need to slow the game down (as Pine Tree did to us) and attack on the ground. While Lovejoy appears to have a good defense from looking at film their front 7 does not compare with Summit's. Texas High will have to play a near perfect game to pull this one off. Hang onto the ball and grind out TDs. It can be done but it will take an all-out effort and maybe a few breaks. Lovejoy has earned their reputation. I'm loving being in the 3rd round with a super young team. Gotta enjoy the ride no matter the outcome. Gotta believe !!!!

Very good season. Almost pulled off one of the most stunning upsets of the playoffs. Hard not to wonder how it would have been different without the 4th down gamble

well whether you believe it or not it wasn't a shot at you guys. The Astros have let so many go (Springer, Correa,Verlander) and have kept rolling. I fear they are going to let Tucker walk when he and Alvarez are the only ones I would shell the money for. This team seems so tied to the fact that Altuve MUST be the face of the franchise that I'm afraid Altuve & Bregman will eat money Tucker could have been signed for. Bregman is my favorite player, but he is going to command more money than I would pay and I'd say the same for Altuve. It is all a crapshoot. So take my advice for the ten cents it is worth. But we weren't the ones to pay A Rod and Fielder millions when they werent even there. That stuff can kill the franchise.
