Ennis ISD 56.6% hispanic 27.5% white 13.1% black 49.4% at-risk 100% econ disadvantaged (not sure if TX Tribune has that right lol or maybe Ennis offers free lunch to all students) Still similar demos to Jacksonville and Ennis is in DFW playing in generally tougher districts

I could see that...I also see private schools really tightening up their entry requirements so "undesireables" don't end up there
-
I dont forsee a ton of changes either way, there's already school choice across the state

Pretty sure its going to be internal since the HC became the supt

How do you address recruiting in MS without evidence of recruiting in middle school..the UIL can't go off "hey we heard ya'll were recruiting, tell us about that"
-
I think the biggest reason North Shore didnt get harder is the coach who was caught had only been there 1.5 years, the coach took full responsibility for the violations and the two kids he attempted to recruit never enrolled at North Shore. GPISD had a data driven presentation showing their program numbers, how many kids attended their MS, etc...the UIL commented on how well prepared they were....IMO there really was no evidence for a program wide-punishment for North Shore based on the hearing

Sounds very Clarksville of them

East Bernard is a pretty consistent winner in football, much more consistent than Harmony has been long-term....and apparently EB has some really good groups coming up

In my 7A tweet the 16 districts had this breakdown West TX: 1 District DFW: 4 Districts Houston: 8 Districts Austin: 1 District San Antonio: 1 District RGV/Laredo: 1 District The current 6A isn't much different than what 7A would look like West TX: 2 Districts DFW: 9 Districts Central TX: 1 District Houston: 12 Districts Austin: 2 Districts San Antonio: 3 Districts RGV/Laredo: 3 Districts
